Uptown Funk is the dynamic DJ/Producer duo of Antonio Alexis and Craig Horsley from Huddersfield and Bradford, UK. With a distinct blend of Soul, Funk, Disco, and Jackin’ House, they’ve quickly become a force in the scene. Their 2020 debut EP, Groove Edits on Rare Wiri, hit No.1 on the Juno singles chart, and they’ve since released on prestigious labels like Super Spicy, Disco-Weey, and Tropical Disco. Known for standout DJ sets and remixes, Uptown Funk has captivated audiences on respected shows like DiscoDaze and has a Funky Business residency at Small Seeds. Discobolous is a passionate DJ, sound engineer, and visual artist whose career began in the early ’90s at a radio station in Athens, where his love for vinyl and sound first took root. With a background in live sound engineering and film, he spent years honing his skills in sound design, music production, and video editing, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to his creative work.

Deeply connected to the underground party scene, Discobolous has played a key role in creating independent venues and events with friends, drawn to the raw energy of warehouse parties and sophisticated bar settings alike. Today, he records around 90 DJ sets a year, blending fresh releases from across the genres he loves, and regularly performs at intimate bar and restaurant residencies, spreading positive, uplifting vibes.

While his track production has so far remained digital, Discobolous is currently developing his sound with analog synths at home, with plans to take his live performances to the stage when the moment is right. His journey reflects a lifelong dedication to sound, community, and the art of creating unforgettable musical experiences.
