This was actually knocked together for some Uni work but it sounded nuts so ended up being played at a number of xmas parties and on my old Gabber FM radio show., dropped it to a crowd of 1000+. Ha the look on their silly faces.

Bass Command Records Present The X-ecute Membrane Mix

Ok so you probably all know I left Middlesbrough but on the 22nd March I played my Final DJ set in Boro after 7 and a half years of Djing in the town playing at some massive nights and racking up what I estimate to be over 1000 hours on the decks. Since being back in London iv only managed to get on the decks once so iv re-recorded my final set. First off a big thanks to Dave Nu-underground Robinette for putting me on. For an Electro House - Techno set I tried to play as many tunes as I could to sum up my time in Boro. The Mix contains some Phatt ass bass driven tunes that I first whipped out playing with Lee Weatherill at 4th Bass during Middlesbrough Music Live, I played the same room as X-factors Amelia Lilly that day before she was famous then we played the VIP party while Example was on the other stage stealing the crowd. Some of these tunes I played with Tom Lunartek Powell Chris James and Mark 'Kojax' Clough the Original DJEM crew, we had something fucking cool there. The final tune in this mix is the one track here that iv played every year since my Middlesbrough debut in October 2005. Along with some of the others I cained it at the SU how Luke Stretton let me get away with these tunes for so long is beyond me hahahahaha.

I had great fun playing this set first time round during the re-recording i think maybe some mixes just worked better live!! But I remember Miguel, Jack and Elliot saying how much they enjoyed it so it couldnt have been bad. Someone taught those guys well.

Most of all from my time DJing the Boro id like to thank the thousands and I do mean Thousands of people who danced and heard me play over the years without you it wouldnt have been as half as fun. Sorry I cant tag everyone but you all know who you are PLEASE SHARE THIS ROUND IF YOU EVER HEARD AN X-ECUTE SET!!
