On this new flip the three musicians got together and recorded a track reminiscent of 70’s funk. Groovy guitar riffs and lush keys paired with tastefully executed drums are driving the track forward and immerse the listener into a sunny and relaxed atmosphere. Lex (de Kalhex) is a French producer and graphic artist from Paris. Known for co-founding Akromégalie Records in 2008 and being a member of the hip-hop group Kalhex, Lex presents a powerful and catchy musical aesthetic. Close to Nujabes entourage , he regularly tours in Europe and Japan with the Rockwell Product Shop label and has built a dedicated fanbase. "East Ward" is an instrumental track with jazzy sounds, driven by a boombap drum kit and beautiful saxophone notes.

I still remember capturing the ambiances by the window of our airbnb, there was a playground just outside with people playing football with 35°. Happy today its finally out <3
