Back in 2000 I spent a lot of time on the Drum & Bass Arena website chatroom (LOL) and met a few people online that would end up inviting me down to Kent to go to Atomics with them, my mates back home loved raving but wouldn't travel that far down south so I used to get the train down to Rainham in Kent and go to the weekly Atomics night in Maidstone. This was my first taste of D&B raves south of Birmingham and I got to see a lot of DJs and MCs that rarely came up my way. It was only on 9pm - 2am but was every Saturday, I went to a handful o events in 2000 and also went NYE 2000/2001, very messy nights!

This mix is a tribute to the tunes I heard, shout to all the Pure Science crew!
