Underground Sound Of Ibiza 2xCD Unmixed/Mixed

After the highly successful Miami releases and with all three CD's of the series completely selling out, Bedrock are extremely proud to present their first ever Underground Sound of Ibiza album release.

The double CD features a poolside/daytime vibe on one disc full of laid back balearic beats perfect for those summer days featuring exclusive new music from the likes of Pig&Dan, Charlie May and King Unique alongside some special new versions and takes on some of our recent releases from The Japanese Popstars, Jimmy Van M and Oniris and of course the ambient version of Jemmy's "Waterllo Blues" which caused a huge stir when it was broadcast from the Transitions 500 Miami boat party.

The second disc takes a more uptempo clubbier / night time journey and takes in 10 exclusive new tracks from the likes of Marco Bailey, Sasha Carassi, Misstress Barbara and Marc Marzenit amongst others, there is also a bonus remix of the classic Guy J single 'Lamur' which has been remixed by Sebastien Léger.

Bio:
Iran-born DJ and music producer Afshin Mohammadi, better known by his monikers SHINNIE and United Rockstars, has performed at major events such as Sensation Black Moscow, Stereosonics Australia, Future Music Festival Malaysia, and the F1 After Party in Singapore. He has shared the stage with notable artists like The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Ace Ventura, Tall Paul, Scot Project, and Cosmic Gate at events across Australia, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Since 2008, he has released over 200 records, including singles, 12 EPs, and 4 studio albums, through his own imprints Tripbox, Machines Don't Dream, and Echoing Emi. In addition to spending time in music studios in Istanbul, Yerevan, and Tbilisi to craft his ever-evolving art form, he is dedicated to mentoring emerging artists through his forward-thinking music company, OXYTOXY, all while remaining true to his global dance-floor communication system: trance music.

Tipped by Pete Tong as 'New Names' for 2018 and firmly cemented in the playlists of the world’s A-List House & Techno DJ’s, OC & Verde are names on everybody’s radars this year. 

Their big breakthrough came in 2016 with 'Maasai’ on Hot Since 82’s label 'Knee Deep In Sound', which racked up an Essential New Tune plus a Beatport Number 1.

The duo then went on to make releases on Truesoul, Octopus, Suara and Bedrock, which gained heavyweight support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Solomun, Joesph Capriati, Maya Jane Coles, Sasha, John Digweed, Tale Of Us and Maceo Plex. 

This consistency was noticed by the godfather of dance Pete Tong, who invited the duo into the BBC Radio 1 Studios to be interviewed live on air as part of his ‘Final Credits’ feature, where they also got to deliver a 40 minute ‘Tag Team Mix’. 

OC & Verde’s presence on Radio 1 has continued to resonate across the station with Danny Howard awarding them his ‘Friday Fire’ accolade for their seminal remix of Eli & Fur’s ‘Around You’ which also hit the Top 10 on Beatport's techno charts.
