The second track I've written for the sixth album. This continues the Russian theme of the first track, so perhaps the idea of a concept album (or part thereof) isn't such a bad one. Again, any comments or feedback very welcome.

Winter Palace - Peter I

Latest track from my sixth album. This is unashamedly influenced by Tangerine Dream. Still an early mix, but not too far away.

Winter Palace - Elizabeth I

A laid-back, bluesy, R&B style chill track, with strong bass, guitars and saxophone, with strong Pink Floyd influences. Yet again, something a little different.

Long Night

Still working on this synth and drums track. But it's shaping up nicely. Good chance this will be on the next album.

Oct15 - A5 - 3

I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment. This is the third song I've written and recorded this month (Oct 2015), and this one is also destined for the sixth album. Still some mixing and mastering to be done, but it's mostly there.

Alexander II

A bouncy, upbeat corporate track. One of those reasonably generic, bouncy, quickly forgettable tracks for background music on videos.

First Lash

I wrote this track in mid-2015 to accompany a short video I produced on Ballooning in Cappadocia. I wanted something light, pastoral, and gently inspiring.

Third Lash

This is the seventh track from my fifth album. It's quite heavy and dramatic, with a heavy rock section in the middle. If it sounds depressing (well, look at the title I chose for it!), that's probably because it was written at a bit of a low point, and I needed to get my feelings out.

Requiem (Life In A Vacuum)

This is a quiet, romantic piano piece I wrote when I was about fourteen. I eventually orchestrated it and included it on my third album. 

Augustine

I wrote this cheery little track in honour of my daughters. I was trying to recreate musically the happy, upbeat sense of wonder, joy and contentment I felt every time I cuddled my girls when they were little. It's about that other sort of love - unconditional and unending. From my fifth album.

Small Wonders

This is the closing track from my fifth album. It starts slowly, then builds into a pretty full-on orchestral rock piece. Still a favourite arrangement of mine.

Decembrist

Hi all. I'm a writer and director as well as a musician and composer. Then I do other stuff that is about as far from being creative as it is possible to get, just to pay the bills.
