In a fit of madness, myself, an ageing, musically retired, John Craig Campbell, and my favourite, the multi talented, Robert Burton, decided that it would be a good idea to write a musical odyssey based on our adventures travelling around eastern Europe.  Just to make things interesting we challenged ourselves to write, record, mix and perform the whole thing in just 3 days.  So this weekend just gone, we got together, drank some beer, wrote all the songs, drank some beer , recorded all the music, drank some beer , wrote and recorded all the vocals, drank some beer, mixed the entire thing into one continuous musical epic and after a 10 minute practice, performed the work at Bar One in Derby.  The result is the following piece of musics, some bits are better than others, and it is far from perfect, but we are far from perfect so it is quite a good fit.  We will repost in the future with video and art, but for the time being we just wanted to prove we actually did something this weekend.  We had one of the most wonderful, creative and fun weekends ever, we hope you enjoy some or all of it, and enjoy the world of our minds and music.  Much love.

Being lucky students with regular access to the Uni recording studios and having to fit in lots of studio practice, we recorded some alternate versions... here's what happened!

This could potentially have been the first-ever track written by Dead In The Queue, back when we were called Destroy Music and had no idea what we were doing... though that didn't change an awful lot!
Again with regular access and requirement to be in the University studios, we made several versions of the tracks, this one is kind of as-written but later became a lively hop along. This version has some of the most exhausting hand claps ever committed to record!!
