Thomas Brinkmann releases the first of a series of releases on Third Ear. The quality and originality of these tracks reminds of just how good a producer Thomas Brinkmann is. Techno it is, but nobody sounds like this. This, the first release is the Guy Martin ep, inspired by the British motorcycle racer and raconteur, Guy Martin. Brinkmann is himself a keen motorcycle rider and racer.

"Sword and Rose Forever" shows once again that she knows how to create relentless club music imbued with beautifully bittersweet atmosphere. The EP closes with the punch of "Hurdy Gurdy DJ Tool," a break-laden machine-piston of a rhythmic workout that's made for those selectors who want to set fire to the floor and jam the energy up to a frenetic peak.
