There's a story to this month's podcast, mixed by taste-making Utrecht DJ and Rhythmic Culture mainstay https://soundcloud.com/akaaskmelater. It goes something like this: Back in March last year, just as clubs were reopening, Askmelater (aka Toine) was invited to play Utrecht's infamous WAS. club night. But unfortunately, they caught covid and were unable to make the date (most of us can relate). Stuck at home, Toine channelled both their fever dreams and their frustration at missing out on a good gig in an excellent set of moody breaks and trippy electronica. Almost a year after reopening, this mix is a welcome reminder of what a joy it is to be back on the dancefloor. And with Askmelater at the helm, you know you're in for something special.

Born with piano and a passion for female punk rock bands such as The Runaways and Bikini Kills, Sole Dosi is an Italian multidisciplinary artist, producer, and DJ who likes to bring a sensual mix of musical genres to the dance-floor. 

Her productions are influenced by vinyl-only minimal sounds, breakbeat, acid, techno, and electro.

Podcast 365 is a wonderful trip of Techno flirting with House. The tease of genres transitions in the opening track had us smiling from the start. We are excited to introduce you to Italian artist, Sole Dosi.

Raised by techno collectives, Sole Dosi is a multidisciplinary artist characterized by a selection of techno music which includes references from Groovy Deep Techno, Hardgroove, harmonic Ambient, Electro Detroit and Trance.

Her mixes and productions reflect her passion for different genres and complex stories within tracks, allowing for very clear highs and lows. In the same set there can be very hardgroove passages, which provide raw rhythms moments and on the other hand tracks that establish a connection with the subconscious and put the listener in a kind of trance.

Always in search of unknown sounds and true contact with the crowd, she rapidly secured residencies at Tempio del Futuro Perduto, Rocket Club Milano and co-founded Dropzi Records, her label and event series.

A vinyl collector from a very young age, there is no better way to define her than a tireless freak selector who wants to bring people to her musical fantasy.

Thomas Klaps, professionally known as 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬, is a Belgian DJ and techno producer hailing from 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐮𝐦, and currently residing in 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧. His passion for electronic music ignited at the age of eight when his father gifted him a record player, marking the beginning of his musical journey.
Over the years, Klaps has established himself in the electronic music scene with 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and 𝐝𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐉 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬, performing at renowned festivals such as 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐤𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐨𝐩, where he delivered a memorable performance in the 𝐁𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦. His music has garnered support from industry leaders like 𝐏𝐚𝐧-𝐏𝐨𝐭, 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞, 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐠𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞.

Sole Dosi is a multidisciplinary artist known for her innovative blend of Deep Techno and House, drawing influences from Detroit, Warehouse Techno, Psy-Trance, Breakbeat, and Electro. She crafts immersive journeys in her sets, creating dreamlike experiences, including monthly events with her Dropzi Records project at Tempio del Futuro Perduto, a key venue in Italy’s electronic music scene.
Recognized by DJ Mag and Beatport Radar as one of Italy’s most exciting talents, she has performed alongside Jeff Mills, Anfisa Letyago, Chris Liebing, and more. Collaborating with labels like BCCO, Craigie Knowes, and Kneaded Pains, her EP "My Friend is On Air" topped Beatport’s Best New Techno charts.
