Newly launched Dutch electro label LDI Records follows up their first release from T/Error with a deep and dark four track EP by French producer Franck Kartell. 

In a homage to masterful science fiction writer Philip K Dick - Side A of Electric Sheep EP evokes scenes from future mechanised worlds. Electric Sheep kicks the 12” off with a melancholic and contemplative moment followed by a steel cold and brooding venture in Voigt-Kampff.

On the B side of this release, there is a live mix of Kartell's track Electro Music, a futuristic electro work out with kicks for the dancefloor. The EP completes with Victoria - an ode to the electronic musician Victoria Lukas who passed away in 2020 - with a beautifully poised and contemplative track steeped in synths.

Franck Kartell is a French producer who has releases on Between Places, Transient Force, Ukonx Recordings, New Flesh, Bass Agenda and others. Since 2005 he has been producing well thought-out electro music filled with dark atmospheres and driving rhythms.

Specialising in moody, atmospheric electro, LDI Records (Lloyd’s Dark Imperium) are an essential label to watch. Distributed worldwide by Clone Distribution, while the Dutch label’s main focus is on vinyl releases, available in selected record shops across the globe, releases will also be available digitally.

Marie Montexier, head of Paryìa Records, releases the label’s ﬁrst EP by the German-Turkish artist a.b.u.3.0.3. Creating a range of slow and fast rhythms while mixing different genres from experimental structures to ﬂoor ﬁllers, Paryìa I doesn’t only highlight a personal and intimate side of a.b.u.3.0.3.’s work but also Marie’s sense for crossing genre boundaries.

Inﬂuenced by his father’s culture a.b.u.3.0.3 blends elements of traditional anatol-folk with electronic music that shaped his youth. He combines bass heavy techno rhythms with deep acid patterns, letting his arrangements oscillate between nostalgic moods and contemporary sounds.

Swiss born, Amsterdam resident, The Midnight Tantrum, debuts on the Ransom Note Records sub-label, Insult To Injury, with five Analogue-Techno slices of pure heaven. DÔME (curated by Astropolis to support the local scene) is back with a new 100% Brittany various EP. A journey into the Vortex including tracks from new Bicep favorite FASME, Rinse France resident CARLTON, EVENN (Rawax...) from Texture crew and DJ PADSET, (best known as Vanadís and Tsugi Radio resident).
 
Freshly signed on Feel My Bicep and after supported Bicep in a Parisian show, FASME is a one to watch (BBC1 Future star 2022). His melodic sound is created on analog synths, evolving between acid, electro and braindance. "Ça Groove" is an aery dance in his synthetic and acid sound, a perfect track to start the night.
 
Native from Brest, we could think CARLTON is a Bristol native. Deep bass and percussive breaks lover, he has refined his sonic imprint inspired by labels such as Livity Sound, Idle Hands or Timedance. On 'AM1', he delivers a deep dive in his immersive sound design full of details.
 
Used to deliver house bangers on big imprints such as Rawax, Houseworx or Henry Street Music, Evenn show us his electro facet, with this 'E.S.TRAX' beauty between rhythmic energy, dark and smooth electro. 
 
Known as Vanadís for her dj sets exploring the best of unconventional sounds between UK bass, experimental electronic and industrial, she’s also producing as DJ PADSET. With its very raw analogic bassline, its acid beats and sprinkled with vocals, ‘Leaders Mischief’ reminds us the early releases of L.I.E.S imprint. Dancefloor killer!

Moscow label Pkge presents a new release consisting of three personal compositions from one of its bosses Caprithy and two remixes from Farron and Shedbug. The EP is called "Splinter" and it represents the stylistic diversity of the author's tracks.

The release opened with the track "Press Any Key" in which randomly programmed percussions alternate each other creating an effect of suddenness. The main synth bassline glues the drums together and doesn’t give you a break. On a classic techno breakout track «Сhannel 3» Caprithy achieves dynamics with bouncing sidechain bass and a tricky percussion. The title track has a modern electro sound, choppy drums with a lot of drops. The confident snare drum keeps the rhythm in check and dilutes the dark atmosphere.

All three tracks from Caprithy are filled with noises, various sounds and that has already become the author's calling card. Also the picture is complemented by the strongest remixes from Shedbug who unexpectedly shifted towards EBM and Farron who presented the classic DnB track.
