This is the first song from my song cycle 'Tluq' (Departure), a setting of three poems by contemporary Maltese poet John Aquilina.

Guilty pleasures:

1.  70's synth wig-outs
2.  Guitars put through modern amps with fuzz, ping-pong delay and a s**t load of reverb
3. Mellotron choirs...

ESP (Weaponised)

This track is a very groove - driven one with guitars and guitarish lines, riffs and chops played and triggered completely by keys...
That's why it's titled "Keypoint".

Well, the socalled keypoint here is, that guitars triggered and played via the keys of a keyboard usually sound crappy or simply not authentic. At least I tried to execute the "axe" ...
But there are more points to get hooked by this track - it was a real pleasure to jam and build it up for me, filling it with a bunch of ideas and a whole lot of groove!

And that's for sure one of the major keypoints for me:
being pleased, satified and driven by positive energy...
in times when these aren't self-evident.
