It’s time for a long awaited release for us here on PHW, when we finally have the chance to have the always great and friendly Hungarian producer Several Spirits back on our roster. With a great diversity on his productions, he now comes with 2 pounding deliveries called “Electricity Technology”, complemented with 2 remixes and on the B-side, “Coloured Underwater”.

“Electricity Technology” is a brilliant production, filled with a lot of trancy elements, driving chords and melodic hooks, so made for the summer.The track is just a joy to listen to, filled with tension and great atmosphere. It is truly a great delivery from Several Spirits, just as expected.

On remix duty, you are to get a brilliant take from the rising talent, Ukrainian Alexander Samusevich, more known through his Alex van Deep moniker. He truly delivers a skilled piece of progressive here, when taking on this original and builds it in his own way. Be ready for pounding bass lines, thick kick drums and an energetic flow throughout the track. It’s another lovely act from the youngster!

The 2nd remix comes from US bound, hardworking producer yan Lhert who returns to the label once again. He puts a more laid back interpretation to the table here, still with that warm and emotional atmosphere, that he is so known for!

On the B-side, you are to get your hand on another brilliant production from Several Spirits, this one baptized as “Coloured Underwater”. With this production, he delivers another truly melodic piece of progressive music, filled with sun drenched melodies, emotional pads as well as a great atmosphere built through warm bass lines and pounding kicks, it’s just lovely stuff coming up here and we are as pleased as ever to have this fine selection of tunes to deliver!

Having built a reputation in their home nation of Italy under various solo and collaborative aliases, Thomas Schwartz & Fausto Fanizza come together once again for their debut Anjunadeep release, "You Would / Mad Dog".

The opening track on Above & Beyond's new "Anjunabeats Volume 11" compilation, "You Would" is a masterful piece of emotive electronic music. Setting the mood perfectly in the mix, it's a skilled blend of moody atmospherics, drawing from classic progressive elements and deep house grooves, subtly wound together with melancholic vocals and piano melodies.

"Mad Dog" steps up a gear, again combining dark tones with driving percussion in another sophisticated production. Delicate melodics make way for discordant strings and a surging bass riff as things build to an intense peak.

Intricate Records is ready to present the long-awaited sequel of the label’s signature compilations. The second issue of «Intricate Sessions» will be released in summer 2014. In accordance with the last year’s tradition, two permanent residents and label co-founders, PROFF and Vadim Soloviev are responsible for compiling and mixing of Volume Two. The main release will be introduced by two samplers. The first sampler will be put together by Vadim Soloviev. Three tracks from this sampler are already confirmed to appear on Vadim’s mix later on, these are «Make Me Believe» by Artego, «Shout!» by Sebastian Weikum and«Point Of View» by V I F.

The track with a screaming title «Shout!» by Sebastian Weikum immediately catches the eye. This original production depicts the vivid elements and signature sound on this Poland-based musician: general liveliness and contagion of the vocal samples. Another hero of the sampler is Artego — a musician, sound-producer and deejay from the city of Yekaterinburg with over ten years scene experience, participant of the project Dancekraft and former co-founder of the pop-band Fontano. His versatile experience can be traced also on his production «Make Me Believe» – it is quite easy-received, dancefloor-friendly and is heard in one breath. Finally, the third participant of the sampler 
— Konstantin Astafiev from Cherkassy, known on the scene under his creative alias V I F, expressed his own opinion with the help of his track «Point Of View». Holding a degree in sound engineering, he knows how to make music attractive for the listener. That is why his work corresponds with the general concept of the entire release very well: feel the beginning of a sunny and hot summer.

On the 12th of July 2014, Intricate Records will hold a special showcase at the annual GES Festival. The large event is dedicated to electronic music, extreme and adventure sports — the showcase by Intricate Records boasts an impressive team of Cosmonaut, Envotion, Fon.Leman, Poison Pro and PROFF.

The annual festival of electronic music and extreme sports «GES» was established in 2007 and will unite the fans of active lifestyle and club music already for the 8th time in 2014 on the territory of Samara region in Russia. The sand of Kopylovo, the massive chain of Zhigulevskie mountains and, of course, the river Volga create a favourable soil not jut for beach dancing but also for a wide variety of adventure outdoor activities. Nowadays GES festival takes place close to the wickets of Zhigulevskaya hydroelectric power station, near the picturesque water storage reserve — for its large size it is popularly called «Zhigulevskoe sea». The event is held with the general support of Togliatti city district Administration and Department of Tourism of Samara region, it puts together the appearance of over 20 electronic dance music live acts and DJs from all around the world with over 20 different extreme sports activities. For the first time in the history of GES Festival, Intricate Records will present a solid label showcase at Ultraviolet dancefloor — on the 12th of July 2014 the Dutch project Envotion, the most prolific resident artist Fon.Leman plus the DJs Cosmonaut, Poison Pro and PROFF will headline the night and display the diverse sides of the modern electronic sound as promoted by the Russian Progressive label.

Fon.Leman prepares official two-parts compilation, as a part of Intricate Records label showcase on GES Festival 2014. Its tracklist fully provides the title of Alex Fon.Leman as the most prolific label resident. Half of the material is provided by himself. The compilation will be available in stores Beatport and iTunes, as well as on CDs in Russia
