DJ Shovle - Beachball 2020 (Crusing Makes My World Go Round)

Craig "DJ Shovle" Shovlin started his career with a second hand pair of turntables he recived for his 9th birthday after hearing a mix tape from the legendary scottish rave "Hanger 13" he decided then and there this is what he wanted to do for a living.

At the turn of 2000 Craig was already gaining popularity and grabbing the attention of other djs for his own mix tapes in high school and with locals around where he lived with his own unique style of mixing. As he turned 19 he left his job as a Mechanic to presue a career in the music industry. 6 months later he had his 1st gig in Motherwell Point playing to 200+ people as "The Point" closed down Craig then started sending demos to club managers as he went from venue to venue establishing himself in the Scottish dance music scene. He finally landed himself his 1st residency in the infamous "Charlies" which pulled in crowds from all over the central Scotland area and shot him in to the local lime light which lasted for an epic 5 years. He then moved on Coatbridge's "Click" & also to Motherwell's "Mega Bar" where he held short residences. He also broadcast a very popular weekly radio slot with internet radio station "New Tech Pirates" with 100s listeners from across the globe.

After taking a year out of dj'ing in 2008 learning how to produce his own music with the help from guys at the sadly now no more 23rd Precinct in Glasgow and at the tail end of 2008 his own remix of the 90s classic Artemesia - Bits & Pieces rocked the dancefloors across the country. 

Craig made a eagerly anticipated come back to the business in January 2010 and teamed with the guys from "Obsession" which has proved to be a success both north and south of the border working some of the biggest names in the scene.

In 2015 Craig teamed up with Glasgow's legend of the old skool "DJ Pulse" and together they formed "Passion" hosting events up and down the country again working with some of the biggest names in the scene, as Passion grew popular in May 2017 the pair were promptly snapped up by station bosses at Cumbernauld FM to present they're own dance show "Saturday Night Passion"
