ONOMIX moves full steam ahead into the double digits with this energetic mix from local wax wizard Brie, recorded live from his closing set at our last ONO Underground gathering in June.

We're so glad to have captured this mix, and to be sharing it with you with the ONOMIX stamp. It's cool, driving, propulsive, explorative, wonderfully weird and undeniably dancey.

For our next Futurepast Podcast, we are introducing Timo Bres, founder of Lowtape, the first collective to revive the 90’s rave spirit in Belgium. On a new creative journey with Disc0punk, Timo Bres is now merging modern beats with the avant-garde vibes of early ‘80s synth-wave, crafting a sound that feels timeless yet forward-looking.

In this set, Timo takes us on a deeply personal journey spanning three decades of music. It begins with a haunting introspection rooted in post-punk and experimental electronica, where subtle darkness and sonic warmth intermingle. Forgotten gems from the early '80s emerge, creating moments where impressions matter more than beats, drawing the listener into a reflective, atmospheric realm.

As the journey unfolds, the mood intensifies, evolving into a visceral, machinery-driven exploration. Timo layers textured acid loops with distorted, mechanical grooves. The soundscape grows raw and immersive, paying homage to the relentless energy of  '90s techno and Belgian crew B.W.P. while forging new paths with futuristic, experimental elements.

This set is a window into the world of Timo Bres. A personal anthology of his musical tastes and influences, paying tribute to the sounds of the past while boldly shaping the future. Each track reflects his unique voice as a selector and his true commitment to sharing music that resonates beyond the surface.

Max is becoming a key figure on the London underground circuit, co-running the party Small World which moves between various spaces around the city. This one’s a carefully put together selection - a low-slung trip, exploring techno (?) and beyond. Thoughtful, measured, and built with intent.

A smooth blend of beachy lounge house with soulful R&B-inspired vocals. Night and Day sets the tone for warm-up moments and DJ set openings, easing listeners into a relaxed, feel-good groove.

This track has a strong latin influence to it, taking the Puerto Rican legend that is Hector Lavoe and giving one of his standards (La Murga) a club mix.

Starting with some brass call and responses, the track drops tempo down to 100bpm in the breakdown and builds back up for a full on party time drop - making it perfect for DJs who like dropping latin bombas!

La Murga makes reference to latin musical theatre across the South American lands from Argentina to Panama.
