Enter Kyogre, New Yorks answer to the UK Bassline sound.

Debuting on RENKIE with a stellar 4 track EP titled 'Simple', Kyogre provides us with 'Rats', 'Azimuth', 'Simple' & 'Watch This', a collection of dark, heavyweight Bass anthems.

'Rats' is an all-out attack on your sound system. Lead by it's thumping kick and rough lead melodies, Kyogre dusts this one in an incredible selection of ear candy detail and fx.

Showing off his incredible signature sound, he invites 1997 to collaborate on 'Azimuth', track 2 of the project.

Track 3 see's us take a visit to the projects lead track 'Simple'. This is an unexpected shift in style from the rising star with the mood going even darker in to the depths, focusing on a more minimal structure and atmosphere, yet still packing that punch we've come to expect from Kyogre.

Closing out the project is 'Watch This', a groovy nod to UK Garage that's filled with off-beat percussion and distorted bass knocks.

Taiki Nulight released his signature EP 'Dead End' on  10/20/2017 on Night Bass Records. His track with Mikey B, 'Everybody In The Club (Original Mix)' (https://soundcloud.com/taiki-nulight-uk/taiki-nulight-everybody-the-club-ft-mikey-b) also premiered on this legendary release. Since then, Taiki and Mikey have been dropping a FIRE remix of the track entitled 'Everybody In The Club (VIP)' as heard in Taiki's Unreleased Mixtape 02 (https://soundcloud.com/taiki-nulight-uk/taiki-nulight-unreleased-mixtape-02#t=54:10) which was posted over one year ago. 

I looked high and low for the VIP remix to no avail, until I was driven to ask Mikey B on facebook when the track would be released and learned that they have no plans to do so anytime soon. So, in the spirit of creativity and ingenuity, I created a signature bootleg reboot of the fabled VIP by tweaking the bpm, key, and mixing in the famed original. All the love to Taiki Nulight and Mikey B for creating such legendary, genre-defining original music and inspiring a devoted following of fans across the globe, myself included!
