This is my entry for the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester - Into a New World Remix Competition.

With Beyond The New World, I have tried to recapture much of the grandeur, drama and beauty of Antonin Dvorak's Ninth Symphony, setting out to highlight some of the more lyrical elements of the movement whilst also using samples to build new chords and rhythms.  The piece moves through a range of moods and movements before the dramatic finale.

Cranky is a producer and musician living and working in Melbourne, Australia.  He has produced remixes for the group Hamish, soundscapes for a fashion show as part of the Melbourne Loreal Fashion Festival and in 2013 was a runner-up in the worldwide Korg Master iPolysix Remix Contest.
