The Love I Own is the track that gives the name to the Ivan Dbri's upcoming album. A #deephouse masterpiece, a touch of that parisian house in the beginning of the 2000, smooth and groovy, the perfect summer flavour.

Born in Mexico City and raised in Brooklyn New York, he has been influenced by a diverse spectrum of hip-hop, jazz, salsa, classical & electronic artists.
In the ever changing world of New York, he took the best of the city's diverse influences and formed his own sound, with releases on labels like, Gemini Wax Records, House Cookin, Blaq Records among others, he was recently featured on Houseum Paris with music from his label Foxfield Recordings, Dbri remains an active DJ & Producer in Mexico now, he is real music lover no Hype!

PREMIERE: Cyclades - Eté [The Modern House Quintet]

In June of 2020 Recut gave us ‘Reload Disco’ on his fledgling imprint Recut Music. His four-track wonky disco winner pricked the ears of many. All the heads were in, Jimpster, Luke Solomon, Oliver Dollar, DJ Rocca, Horse Meat Disco, Bill Brewster Justin Robertson, Fred Everything and Marcel Vogel, which culminated in a super speedy sell through of the vinyl.

Recut has been making beats since the ‘90s, preferring to keep his established name and past releases out of the limelight. He pushes out again on his vinyl only, Recut Music label with their second offering entitled ‘Dub Zero’. This EP is a four cut DJ tool that kicks!

Opening with ‘Runway’ and its lo-slung funky groove, that you just want to hear on a very loud speaker. ‘Mothership’ picks up the bpm and moves more into acid house terrain with its driving and repetitive machine beats. Title track ‘Dub Zero’ goes tribal and you can hear this kicking off a treat on Balearic house dancefloors. The EP closes out with ‘Dubmention’. It’s hi hats leading the charge, until the kick comes in and drives it all the way through this six and half minute, glam-rock stomping dancefloor pleaser.

After diving into deep house in the first two releases, the third
installment on Dance Petrol Records goes serious on the synths and
extends into more electronic spheres with the original track Lux
from their head honchos So.undso. Stacking layer over layer of
synthetic sounds, Lux creates a dense atmosphere that’s sure to cast
a spell on its listeners. To round up the package, Jorginho Joao,
Schegg and Baka G join the ride to fill up the tank up to the rim with
their finely crafted remixes. Incorporating sounds and influences
from uk garage to garage house over to balearic beats, the remixes
sure know no boundaries and give you the right selection for every
occasion!

Multitalent Schegg from Munich, is not only skilled when it comes to designing the artworks for the Dance Petrol Records releases, but sure knows how to bring vision of house music on the canvas on which he works with and around the original „Lux“. His dj sets being as manifold as his productions, he does not fear taking risks when it comes to trying exotic things, be it sampling korean disco or rough electronic sonic scapes.
With the remix of Lux, he is incorporating various influences from musical scenes around the mediterranean Sea, creating a stage of sounds that invite you to enjoy and let them take you on a sonic trip.
