The Love I Own is the track that gives the name to the Ivan Dbri's upcoming album. A #deephouse masterpiece, a touch of that parisian house in the beginning of the 2000, smooth and groovy, the perfect summer flavour.

Born in Mexico City and raised in Brooklyn New York, he has been influenced by a diverse spectrum of hip-hop, jazz, salsa, classical & electronic artists.
In the ever changing world of New York, he took the best of the city's diverse influences and formed his own sound, with releases on labels like, Gemini Wax Records, House Cookin, Blaq Records among others, he was recently featured on Houseum Paris with music from his label Foxfield Recordings, Dbri remains an active DJ & Producer in Mexico now, he is real music lover no Hype!

Release Info:
Dan Only returns for his third release on Dirt Crew Recordings with his Deciduous Dubs EP. This release sees the Toronto-native continuing his journey into new musical territories, leaving behind the past and rebuilding his framework from scratch. Armed with Akai Samplers, 90s Romplers and some tried and true Roland classics, this release explores sounds that were informed by Dubstep, Hardcore, House and Techno.

The release opens with “Gateway Shuffle”. The half-time drums and breakbeats link it back to early dubstep and reinforce the ghostly harmonies that glide throughout. Warping basses, deep subs and distant voices welcome you into the sonic world of this release.

“Terraforming” gives you hope in the unknown. The digital pads wash in as the meandering melodies invite you in to take a leap of faith out into the open. A deep sub forms among the all familiar four-on-the-floor kick patterns, providing the foundation needed to lose yourself in groove. By the end, you’re dancing across new ground in a trance-like state.

“It’s Inside You” gets to the root of it all. Stripped back and ever-evolving, the bouncing bass line and shapeshifting landscape contorts around you as this techno groover pummels forward. This one is heady and contemplative and all about self-discovery on the dance floor.

We end our trip with “Macrodose”. Diving through twisting basses and breakbeat science, you’re taken deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole, much farther than you anticipated. There’s a stark contrast between the reality you once knew and the one you are now in. If you can push through the peak you’ll be welcomed by a euphoric afterglow and strong sense of clarity.

Hot on the heels of his latest album 'World Is Too Loud' in the spring, and the recent Transit single, Third Attempt returns with a collaboration project with fellow Tromsø-based DJ and producer LP Martin, previously heard on the likes of Paper Disco, Full Pupp and Beatservice Records.
Percolating a swing-savvy mix of infectious slap bass, gnarly Rhodes and sun-bleached Balearic atmospheres, the duo's debut joint effort 'Muggost', features the whole palette of their funky sound grammar as it meshes together facets of jazz, ambient, house and, quite obviously, a quintessential dose of spaced-out disco, through one helluva brightly hued mosaic of textures and colours. 
The title-track 'Muggost' gets the ball rolling on a deft, hip-swaying note with its old-school Chicagoan shuffle, jacuzzi-warm riffs and ankle-snapping breaks. Tailored Ibizean guitar motifs smoothly and joyfully clash against rippling tides of piano and hazed-out bass moves. On 'Byen', smokey cotton club-like atmospheric tropes rapidly make way for a sensual melange of brittle strings and elastic bounce, all laced in the dreamiest of scenarios, sure to have you zoning out to a land of carefree sun-basking and lascivious idleness.
Getting the triple remix treatment, the flagship cut is turned into a proper club workout courtesy of rising Norwegian talent Blue Charm - bringing forth the jacking bravura of the track and optimising its DJ-friendly, rhythmic appeal. LP Martin then mucks in with his 'Apple' revisit; a lax dub variation under strong trip-hop influence and making generous use of the tape-echo to throw us headlong into a world of sedated quiet. Last but not least, Third Attempt throws us back in the heyday of DJ Shadow and instrumental hip-hop classics a la 'Building Steam...' - merging the vaporous beauty of textured synth tapestries with a steely, hard-as-nails drum programming of the finest standard.
