Wednesdays I drive to hangout with my man Ed for an hour and talk to him about my woes, bros, hoes, and blows from life. He's a real one, and in one hang he asked me a few questions. And I thought about those questions for like, tree weeks straight, and am now asking them to you all. What is it you are doing with your life? Are you actively creating your own life, path, and purpose? Are you just participating in your own life from circumstances outside your control? Or are you sitting back, and observing your own life, allowing it to be made for you and pass you by? These questions and the feelings they illicited within me were used to create this mix filled with songs and sounds of hope, happiness, and love, but also feelings of uncertainty, regret, and even a little fear, all the while presented through disco, funk, and smooth and sexy vibes. We all only get one life, how will you live yours? Just something to think about on this Casual Wednesday.

Wow!!! I just found this in my in my old hard drive. I believe I got this from thee legendary DHP?? In any case, Hippie is someone I'd admired for many years as  being one of NYC's main players of thee NYC Disco 2 House Music scene. Not only as an DJ, but also an artist on The Turntable Orchestra Group with their NYC House Music smash hit 'You're Gonna Miss Me". Another notch to us Puerto Ricans.
Hippie moved to Orlando for a few years & DJ'd a few event's where I got to listen to this living legend & now I can call my friend. So without further or do, Here's some are Hippie on the 1 & 2 'z back in 1982.
