Colombia is going through one of the harshest economical and political crises in the last 30 years. COVID, state violence and increasing poverty have unleashed social protests with millions of citizens disapproving of President Duque's tax reform. Although held back, protests continued and Colombia's deep wounds have yet again resurfaced as inequality, racism and violence have been shown to be the system's true colors. The government's response to the social movement has been that of extreme brutality; massacres, rapings and human rights violations have been daily bread. Colombia and all the people who've been fighting for their rights need our help.

“ALL EYES ‘N' COLOMBIA’’, a VA conformed by 22 tracks and 28 artists, aims to be a humble but meaningful part of that help; an astonishing compilation fully merged into delightful electro, ghettotech, acid, breaks, idm bombs all gathered, mastered and served to the table in less than two weeks. All in order to raise the most funds possible during these hard days of fight and to spread the word in our music and artistic international community of what’s happening here in Colombia. 100% of the earnings will go to various press, health care, food and human rights local organizations. We highly encourage u all, dear BogoLovers, to grab a copy of this must have masterpiece VA and at the same time stand out against violence, oppression, corruption and death in support of our colombian brothers in fight. This week we have one of the scenes’ OGs and that is Saint Petersburg-based DJ @KARAWAI . 

DJ KARAWAI has put together an icy mix full of variety for you guys, featuring heavy breaks right through to acidic bassline ghetto tek. The mixing is really something in this, he has kept his styles very creative throughout the mix. 

KARAWAI is also an avid producer, he has recently released his own EP over on the Russia-based @urwaxx label. The EP is called "GoaTekk" which was both a digital & vinyl release. To all you vinyl heads out there we deffo recommend you go pick this one up! He also has another EP in the works so make sure to keep locked for that.

Hosting episode 15 we have Leipzig-based DJ & Producer @deejaydetox. 

DJ Detox has been producing for a number of years and we're sure many of you guys are aware of what DJ Detox is all about! You lot may know him from releasing on some of the scenes most consistant labels such as FTP, Raiders and more. 

In 2020 DJ Detox released a EP on Leipzig label "R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings" where he put together 4 bass driven tracks showcasing his mastery of electro, techno & breaks. 

The mix he has concocted for us today is very different and refreshing, Detox has put together a real nice set for you guys this week. Delving into various styles and keeping the energy high throughout with seamless and lovely mixing.

This week we are joined by the main man @mate999. Based in Paris, Maté is both a DJ and producer. Maté is well known in the scene for his consistent output of tracks, edits and mixes. If you head over to his soundcloud you will be greeted by 3 plentiful playlists packed with tunes and mixes for you to enjoy. 

Maté runs the popular label @jerryhorny which is keeping the scene hydrated and fresh with their creative and high energy releases. He has also released on other reliable labels such as @belekrecords and @bogoturerecords.

We are happy to present our new track series NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH. We will be releasing these occasionally and each volume will consist of 5 tracks from some of the underground’s finest.

We will be monitoring the scene day in day out to see who’s making some serious trouble! Repeat offenders will be tracked down and invited to participate.

First up we have 5 producers from across the globe who have caught our eye over the past year. We have Soft Grunge who's been waving the electro flag high in the City of Kyiv. Joined by Los Angeles based User Delusion who is smashing through the scene as of late with his fast-paced gritty ghetto tek and electro. We then have a Russian electro bomb made by someone who constantly raises eyebrows of all listeners and that is Alxs.f. Taking the controls next is the UK’s own Obzerv, anyone who has heard his tracks before will know exactly what to expect. Finishing off is another UK based artist SELFHOOD. He has treated us to a smoking hot old school sounding track.

Bringing season 5 to a close we have German based DJ & Producer @3diz. 3diz is running a fairly low profile at the minute but we are sure that’ll change soon as more start to notice his talents. As you can tell from this mix he has a really good ear for it and has also treated you all to some unreleased goodies.

He has worked with previous Crazed alumni both Soda Kids and DJ Detox, collaborating with them on multiple tracks. With the track with Detox featured on a sick V/A by German based label Mechtronica. 3diz will also be releasing a track with us in the near future as part of our new track series which will be kicking off very soon.

@internationalchrome’s new Data Planet series aims to provide a platform for the best new and up-and-coming artists on the Electro scene to release full EPs. Each release will come on cassette tape, and will feature a remix by the next artist in the series.

First up is the appropriately-named Maiden Voyage from Belarusian producer and DJ, @viikatory. Her first full release, comprising six tracks of Electro dreaming of intergalactic travel, backed by remixes from International Chrome boss, @jensen-interceptor, as well as UK producer, Cyphon - a Brighton-based producer whose work will appear on Data Planet 2, The Thousand Order.

About the artist:
Hailing from Minsk, Belarus, Viikatory is a DJ and Producer specialising in fast-paced Electro. After hearing music by classic producers like Kraftwerk and Drexciya she got hooked on that sound, later finding a love for the harder edged music of Jensen Interceptor and AUX88. Only making music since 2019 she has absorbed production techniques at a fierce pace; classical training from a young age adds a harmonic side to her gritty and high-momentum tracks. Her tracks have featured on compilations from labels such as NoService and Crazed Behaviour. Her first solo release is due out
on International Chrome in October 2021.

About the label:
International Chrome is a label focussing on electro, booty bass, and other club-oriented party sounds run by Australian producers, Jensen Interceptor & Assembler Code. Since 2018 it has released music by legendary producers including The Hacker, DeFeKt, and Amadeezy, as well as the hottest newcomers on the scene today such as LUZ1E, Jpeg.luv, Cyphon, and Dagga. During 2020 the label also launched a series of compilations called International Chromies to raise money for various charities close to the artists’ hearts. The first nine Volumes have each been in aid of good causes including IRC In Yemen, US Bail Funds, SUFRA - a London-based Food Bank, as well as funding for Underground Music Academy, and School Of Bop - music academies working with young people in Detroit and London, respectively. We are back yet again with the second installment of our track series NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH bringing you 5 tracks from producers situated across the globe!

Firstly, we have an artist from New Zealand who invites you to sample his old school Detroit electro-based productions and that is Mokotron who says kia ora on his behalf. He comes in hot with his track "Reach Into The Darkness". This track is fast and bass-driven with seamless vocal improvisation adding to the tension of the track.

Next we have PTMS who we personally feel is one of electro's most exciting up-and-coming prospects. PTMS is a Helsinki-based artist making a name for himself with his heavy-hitting metallic sound. He has contributed to the compilation with his acidic track "Untitled".

Wemory is Frankfurt-based DJ & Producer who has a great taste in all music showcasing a lot of variation & styles in the mixes we've heard from him. He comes in with a beauty of a track titled "Hmmidnite Downride". We think this tune will go down a treat as its fresh and bouncy vibes really resonate with a lot of listeners.

Tom Place is up next, who has recently released an action-packed EP with our good friends over at Childsplay. His bass-driven dubstep influence and his futuristic electro style has all been merged into one track "Concrete Dub". This stinker of a tune is definitely not to be missed!

Last but not least is one of the scenes’ best kept secrets who we are sure is going to develop into a major player, Will Ortiz. We have high expectations for him due to his impeccable taste which is evident in his lovely synth-driven Detroit styled electro and ghettotech. He closes the show with his track “Chi Town”.

An international collaboration between two producers, which was born despite 9212km distance between Vilnius and Khabarovsk. 5ZYL is already known through his presence on Jensen Interceptor’s “International Chrome”, debut EP “Smoke These” and fresh “Main Goal” EP on PZ Records. Shit Control (Rodion Kirsanov) is an emerging producer from Khabarovsk city located at Amur river next to the most eastern border of China. Synthesizers lover and co-founder of the local underground music movement Tom Tom was already recognized by label CYBERJIT. Third is Cincinnati native PTHGN. Although only bursting onto the Soundcloud scene recently, PTHGN is coming up on his 10th year in music production. 2022 is the year Jensen Interceptor returns to clubland, and he’s bringing friends with him. The filling in the sandwich of three collaborative projects in the first half of 2022. Between March’s smash EP with DJ Fuckoff on Unknown to the Unknown, and a still to be announced project with DeFeKT set for a May release, Just Want 2 Dance sees Jensen collaborate with Minsk’s Viikatory on a four-track EP. After a hot release on International Chrome’s Data Planet tape series last year, Viikatory showed us that she’s as equally prolific as Jensen Interceptor by inundating us with new tracks, all of the same high quality (outrageous considering she only started producing two years ago) - these inspired Jensen to propose working together resulting in these four breakneck party starters that will make you just want 2 dance.

Across the last year Oldboy has established himself as an integral figure within the UK Garage and Breakbeat revival. Through releases on Fly By Night Recordings, Noire State, Outhouse Sounds, Ratface Records, Reloaded Sounds, Da Demolition Squad, algo:riddims, Singularity UK, Special Blends, Over and Out, GLBDOM, 40GRIT Records, Diamond Hands Records, and Slippery Sounds, Oldboy has crafted a truly distinctive production style characterised by playful sampling, sharp drum patterns and club-ready basslines. 

More recently Oldboy has expanded his musical palette from his foundation in 2step Garage, Breaks and Speed Garage to Dubstep, Electro and the “Niche” sound of his hometown Sheffield. 

As the first returning artist on Gimme A Break Records, Oldboy’s “Mule Kick EP” melds numerous musical influences to construct a carefully balanced release. The EP’s opening track “Get Em Up” offers a rolling breakbeat composition founded upon a mischievous organ house bassline. “Sound O’ Da Metro Centre” and “Mule Kick” see a return to Oldboy’s rawer and more sonically aggressive production style with particular reference to Sheffield’s Niche scene in the former. In “Unsettled”, Oldboy experiments with percussive electro while maintaining the EP’s scratchadelic soundscape. Closing the release, Paris-based producer and DJ Pépé Elle provides a mind-warping 808 Remix of “Unsettled” fitted with a contorted half-time second drop for added pleasure.

Brian Baker delivers 10 high NRG rave bangers on his first solo release on Fantastic Voyage! The title track "Dora" has been a stand out track in my DJ sets for the past year. It's a 140bpm acid banger that pulls at all the right nostalgic heart strings... Every time I play it, people ask for the track ID. Brian's music is fun, cheeky and energetic. The stripped down productions are perfect for the club, and Brian's willingness to take risks with cheeky ideas for tracks consistently bring smiles to the dance floors. Shawn Carter also came in hot with a euphoric electro remix of Dora to add some extra PLUR to the release. Huge love to Brian on this incredible project, and hope you all can feel some of the good vibes from these awesome tunes :)

As a part of Dortmund’s club scene Robin Tasi is known in the city as a DJ and producer with old school influences. Beginning as a member of the vinyl label ‚Contrary Records’ in 2015, he focused on events e.g. ‚Sectæ‘ with Andrea Belluzzi or acid influenced ‚Acid Wave‘ with Reshift (now as ‚Justin Tinderdate‘) who decided to run a label together called ‚Acid Wave Records‘. While hitting the clubs in and outside of Germany as a resident of Dylan K.’s ‚Hexagon‘ from Münster, he began to produce similar to his style of mixing: influenced by many different subgenres from the last thirty years of electronic music history. Robin Tasi decided to release his own productions or in cooperation with other artists on labels around the globe up to his own co-working label. In 2019, he and his close friends decided to start a project called ‚Dortmund Dance Division’ to support all kind of (rising) artists from the region and spread love on their own partys.
