i took inspiration for this track from the prodigy's "stand up" which, although a heavy electronica song, still manages to be very happy and uplifting

this song utilises several keys at once to make best use of the frequency spectrum, the organ playing is inspired by Richard Wright's "Great Gig In The Sky". the lead instrument is a Twangy Stick, an instrument I constructed myself from a stick, some fishing line and a popcorn tub I use to catch spiders with.

a meandering improvisation with no specific tempo, destination or intention. the stimulus for this improvisation was a purple door with a triangular window. someone said this song sounded like a whale in space, hence the name.

but i do know for sure that Article 13 passing into EU law ain't a good thing, so i've decided to make most of my tracks free for anyone to download and use for whatever they want (except taking credit for making them...) as i'm prone to knee-jerk responses towards unjustified exertions of authority. the way corporations exploit copyright and fair use grey areas when the laws are in place to protect small creators irks me greatly.
