Often, when I come back from vacation (or a silent meditation retreat, as is the case this time), it's pretty difficult to get into the groove, into the rhythm of the daily life which appears to be pre-occupied with always the next thing. One thing is finished, ok, moving on to the next! Next! Thankfully, I have some structure in place for my never-ending music consumption, as well as some organisational tools to keep myself focused on the ever-increasing pace. So when I wake up, and my calendar says, "Track Premiere for Olec Mün," I think, "ah, I guess that's what I'm doing this morning..." and I'm actually incredibly excited that I've scheduled this ahead. The right music always seems to visit at the right time. In the case of this new album from an Argentian composer (now based in Spain), I am welcomed with the beautiful soft keys, minimal emotive music, and the soaring song of the violin. For "Storni," Olec Mün teams up with Laura Masotto to record an elegant and delicate piece resembling a flock of starlings that brush the sky with their fantastic choreography. "The Storni birds never fly alone," says Mün about the piece, "They all go together painting perfect geometric shapes that every time I see them, leave me speechless. What I admire about them is that they reach such a level of flow that you don’t see the birds anymore, but a great 'being' dancing in the sky."

SPACE, LOVE, & CINEMA

Moon, Part One is the first half to a 20-track album consisting of cinematic elements reminiscent of space films like Interstellar (Christopher Nolan), The First Man (Damien Chazelle), Ad Astra (James Gray), and more. It also intertwines elements of romantic composition to illustrate the differences/similarities between dreaming / space and reality / earth.

There are several motifs throughout the album, but only one that stands out among the rest as a primary melody used in different keys, instruments, and subtleties. It will be more than fun to hear from those who are able to find it.

I hope this album brings everyone as much love, peace, emotion, and fun as it does me. It’s definitely a rollercoaster of feelings, but something I truly believe each individual will benefit from listening to.

WLINMIINL captures a new era of Adam Ragsdale's emotional state. It starts by reminiscing old heartbreak (Drive-In) and transitions into a new state of being deeply in love; so in love that the idea of losing her is overwhelmingly painful (Losingyou). 

Adam hopes at least one song will grab your heart and pull you back into the world of romanticism. Life is too short not to fall in love.

This is a song that was cut from my Album 'The Wonderful Cave That Lies Within' it's been a song that means a lot to me but I felt didn't quite fit the theme of the album. 

The song is about how much we hold bad feelings in because of the way we were told to through our early stages of life. It's a song that personally brought up a lot of feelings and you may listen and think that it's sad but this really did help me get out all my bad and negative feelings.
