Dub Blues

This began as a drum track I came across which I chopped up and rearranged a little, then laid down some classical guitar which is recorded with a condenser mic, then fretless bass, followed by keyboards...all played and recorded by myself. I decided in the end not to sing on this piece as it stood out on its own as an instrumental piece and induced the inner feeling of a journey which made my soul dance...it feels very uplifting to me..I hope you enjoy it too .

Ode to the late Michael Cusato whose musical genius lives on..I came across this track about a week after he passed last May. and in my grief, wanted to still feel him there, be with him, so I recorded some impro piano to this bassline that lay waiting to do something with. I had forgotten I had recorded this and just came across it again. He lives on ! Love you always
