*Temporary Artwork* Welcome to my latest release, my new double disc album called 'The Mood Factory'. Basically my friend called me 'The Mood Factory' and said I have a song for every emotion and feeling, and I loved that so I ran with it for this release! I want this to be played from start to finish, of course, but it will work just as well on shuffle, that was my aim. This is a collection of recent songs that I felt were worth putting on a fully fledged project, so I hope you guys like it. As usual it's a labour of love, and as usual I have the utmost respect and love for every single artist I sample. Enjoy!

I’ve been extremely manic recently as you can tell from my output 😂 But I use music as therapy and to focus my mind away from all the outside noise. This, as ever, is just for fun and practice. DKODA: The Daily EP Collection

Hello everyone, and welcome to DKODA: The Soul'd Out Show (Vol. I - IV)!  This is without a doubt my most ambitious project to date - a 4 part audio experience, where the 4 Volumes of music are split into 4 Acts - like a music themed audio play, presented to a live audience, on an imaginary night at the Apollo in Harlem. I wanted to tell a story about unrequited love, heartbreak, loneliness, elation, hope, grief & despair. Further themes of true love, passion & desire finally intertwine with peace, togetherness & freedom. The protagonist's story is told in audio form using the lyrics and emotions in the samples of the music selected and used. I obviously don’t expect many to listen to the whole thing in one sitting, but is split into 4 albums so you can enjoy one at a time as well. Maybe you can relate to some of the themes and emotions. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the experience!

Hey people. As Bobby & myself are now only a few days away from revealing  'Long Story Short: Chapter II', which will be dropping Christmas Eve US East Coast time, I thought it would be a perfect time to upload our first EP that we made when we first joined forces earlier this year. So U.Poet asked to work with Kinelle Man and myself yesterday and we accepted of course! By 2am on the same day I had the beat completed ✅ Sent instrumental to U.Poet this morning, and not long after he had written and recorded his vox. Kinelle Man found a great sample, chopped out a few 2-8 bar loops and sent these to me so I could arrange, produce and mix down the beat. Made exclusively on MPC X Special Edition.

Welcome to the many Dimensions of DKODA. I try to create audio worlds within my own sonic universe. 

*I mix creatively and not for radio, I have nothing mastered on here* 

I’m on this grind 24/7 people, come along for the journey. My page just showcases my development as I practice beat making every day. I just post the results up on here as soon as I finish a new one. 

This page mostly acts as a personal record of all the sampled music I’ve made over the last 15 years, since I got deep into my MPC's and started teaching myself. I just make what I feel and try to translate what’s in my head so people can hear it. I was exclusively using Koala Sampler for iPad since September 2023 but as of June 2025, I now own an MPC X Special Edition so all new beats from now on will be made with that like the old days! This also means my 2 year iPad and Koala Sampler phase has come to an end 😢 I hope you enjoyed the 1400+ beats I made with it.

Having synesthesia, I see the colours, shapes, textures and movements of the sounds in my mind whenever I hear sound/music, plus scenes in my head. I try and use samples to paint and capture what I feel or want to say. I’m all about the feel.
