In 2015 Lange launches Create, a concept that has spawned a new radio show, and a new label in the Black Hole Recordings family. Lange seeks to take things back to what got him into dance music in the first place and make music to feel truly passionate about; Formula None and Origin were just the beginning. Lange now brings the first release on Create, with Wired To Be Inspired the perfect creation to mark a new direction of passion and sound for Lange.

Tempo Giusto continues to carve his own unique sound with great effect. Driving, bouncing basslines meeting relentless rhythms and dark, twisted tech stabs and melodies are all his trademark weapons. 'TechCorp' delivers on all counts.

The track sets the scene with a gritty, sinister feel; it means business.  The menacing bassline is soon joined by infectious percussion and intensifying stabs and hits.

The break gives some restbite, but you never quite feel at ease. Before long, a huge wave of snare and uplifters push you to the brink, and before you know it you're back riding this dark horse.

David Forbes serves up a delicious slice of Tech-edged Prog trance for Create's last release of 2015.
The scot teases us with a blossoming intro that shapes itself from a deep rolling bass and hugely satisfying metallic tech stabs. Once in the break, a beautiful melody takes over, lifting the mood before darkness once again washes over and the beats come back.

Ukranian's Iversoon & Alex Daf head deep down the tech-trance tunnel with their latest offering. 'Atom' starts moody with a thunderous bassline and plenty of psy-tinged particles. Rather unexpectedly when the initial build stops, majestic strings appear heralding an air of hope. Filtering saw riffs lift the track at this point and a crescendo of snare and kick rolls peak before the focus returns to satisfying your bass needs.

'Atom' is the next tech-bomb continuing our journey on Create.

Label head honcho Lange is back on Create following his no.1 Beatport Trancer 'Airpocalypse'. 

'Conspiracy' as the name suggests is an even darker affair. Kicking off the action with deep chugging bass, tech-grooved percussions and stabs, this musical exploration soon leads to a short break introducing the main suspect; a rising-filter stab that builds until the vocal. Things calm down in the breakdown, but it's just a momentary lapse until the chord stabs are again in focus, rising from the ashes of a sustained pad and deep, warm sub note. Awash with reverb and snare, the trap is set for the conspiracy to be exposed. Just when you think you know the truth, the beats drop out and a squealing high end lead pitches in some further evidence and a final twist.

Heralding from the USA, Quincy Weigert has already featured on Lange's other label, Lange Recordings with the superb 'South Eden'. 'Cloud 10' is a darker story. Right from the off, it carries you on an infectious driving groove of drums and bass. After you've reached sufficient altitude you find yourself gliding into an atmosphercial breakdown. Melodies rise and percussions build until the highest peak is reached. At full throttle 'Cloud 10' pushes forward giving a breathtaking view before it's time for the ascent.

Quincy Weigert - Cloud 10 [Clip]

Stuart Ferguson once again overpowers Create music with his latest driving tech trancer, 'Empire'.  It's the British DJs 4th track on the label and like those that proceeded, the track takes no prisoners.

'Empire' gets straight into the action with a thumping kick and sub and tech stabs that build the tension until we enter a saw arp breakdown.  The theme is dark, but the chord progression gives some light at the end of this battle.The thirst for the return of the kick and bass is finally quenched at the end of the breakdown, and victory is ours. Hail Stuart Ferguson.

Stuart Ferguson - Empire

The man behind the mighty sound of Venaccio is Jason Horvath from the US. We're delighted to present his debut EP on Create, a double header of intelligently produced tracks. First up it's 'Cosmos', with it's deep sub bass, crisp percussion and interstellar drones. At the end of the intro you're lead down the Hole, from which Arpeggio melodies ascend to form a divine breakdown. The track climaxes with the melody continuing into the drop with dramatic chord stabs.

'Nova' also has that priceless story-telling feel to it. It's got a housier bounce to it and builds to another space-enthused breakdown. This is truly special, ethereal tones wash over you, then the haunting melody signals it's nearly time for take off. The drop is euphoric and triumphant with a twist of tragedy.

Venaccio - Cosmos

Another debut release on Create, this time from UK-based duo Killick. The first half of this 2 track EP is 'Hoyer'; a tech-trancer that get's straight to the action with a rather large bass drop. Grooved percussion teases the track along till the breakdown where big synth plucks filter up and progressively crescendo melodically. The break flows into a drum build, and a final snare-fill heralds the return of the bass drop.

On the flip, 'Jeto' is a more rolling affair with a constant bassline and plenty of intricate percussion. A pluck melody joins the bassline in the breakdown. There's a brief hold while the bass drops out before the kick pounds in for an underground drop. Back comes the bass and percussion before an unexpected moment of beauty, a 2nd breakdown that briefly teleports you somewhere else. 'Jeto' is a heads-down track reminiscent of the good old days of clubbing when it was all about your feet not your hands. We say 'more please'.

Killick - Hoyer

Johnny Yono delivers his distinctive high-energy trance in the form of 'M87', his fantastic Create debut.  The track develops quickly, building on a pumping sixteenths bassline with Yono's trademark reverb-drenched effects and tight percussion. The breakdown arrives earlier than expected leaving you hanging in anticipation before a huge bass horn summons the atmospheric chords and orchestral drums. A perfect peak-time drop soon follows with the repeat lifting the melody an octave higher for maximum hype.

If you like your big saw-riff melodies, simply let 'M87' envelop you.

Lange launches the 'Create Strobe' sub label one year on from the inception of his Create Music brand. The new label will be a home for carefully crafted, high-energy Trancers such as this Euphoric gem from Chris Cortez. Straight from the off 'Paralello' teases with it's spine-tingling positive textures, melodies and strobe-like choral stutters.The drop builds on this mood and will lift any floor to new heights. Autumn has well and truly set in in the Northern Hemisphere, if you miss the summer close your eyes and open your ears to 'Paralello'.

Chris Cortez - Paralello

After his Create debut 'Cloud 10', Quincy Weigert's return to Earth is a brief one. This time the destination is 'Scarlett Moon', a track that once again presents Quincy's very distinctive melodic style. 

The intro drop is straight to the point. 0 to 7 miles per second as quick as you can say 'Ignition sequence start'. Guitar plucks start the discussion and a synth melody responds before we enter the breakdown atmosphere. The riff is reinforced in the breakdown swelling to an epic climax before the return journey starts. The synth line and guitar have some last words, and boom, it's all over. Enjoy the trip Creators.

Iversoon & Alex Daf return to Create, this time on our newly unveiled 'Strobe' imprint.
'Bloodborne' drops straight into a triplets bassline and some menacing reverb stabs that build and build in a frenzy-like fashion to the breakdown. We love surprises and the switch to a more melancholic piano melody is quite unexpected as is it's development further into an uplifting pluck sequence. There's more drama on the drop with meaningful stabbing chords switching from minor to major and an electric guitar-style melody.There's nothing predictable about this track, and it's solid production will do some floor damage. Enjoy discovering 'Bloodborne'.

Next on Create, label leader Lange delivers an update of one of the seminal Trance tracks from the early 1990s. Originally written by Jones & Stephenson and released on the infamous 'Bonzai recordings', 'The First Rebirth' induces euphoria with it's timeless melody. Lange stays true to the original raw feel of the drums and percussion and subtly hints at the melody throughout the techno-driven intro. The revealing of the full melody in the breakdown will both touch those who are familiar with it's haunting notes as well as inspire the newest of trance enthusiasts. As the breakdown crescendos into a roll of snares and acidic blips, the question is where next? The answer is full feet fulfilment. We love Techno, we love Trance but we absolutely adore the combination.

Lange - The First Rebirth

Corti Organ and Dan Thompson get together for the 3rd release on the Create Strobe imprint. These two new breed producers mean business with an energetic start to ‘Vortex’ right from the go.

The intro is a cacophony of driving bass, big snares, and distorted stabs; relentlessly sucking you in toward the breakdown. There’s a moment of calm at the centre, as the melody first reveals itself, then the riff opens up with supporting bass and the build begins. The drop bangs hard and grooved, before a gentle reprise of the main theme. The final return of the bottom end signals the last leg of this mischievous big room-edged trance….another Strober causes peak time mayhem.

Corti Organ & Dan Thompson - Vortex

Adip Kiyoi heralds from Indonesia and delivers 2 superb productions to the Create Strobe label. Debuted in Lange & Andy Moor's Stadium4 set at the mighty Dreamstate Festival, 'Overdrive' achieves the holy grail of melody and danceability. The first drop delivers the cheekiest of basslines, and a constant arppegio drives the track to it's blissful breakdown. The chords and gentle melody get under your skin and the lift is incredible as it leaps towards it's euphoric drop. 'Heiwa' is a darker, more menacing experience. That is until the breakdown, where again Adip manages to lift you with impressive layers of chords and melody. The power-drop is once again tinged with menace, before a final reprise of melody. This EP is arguably Adip's strongest to date and captures the essence of what Create Strobe is all about; energy, power, and beauty.

Adip Kiyoi - Overdrive

It's great to welcome back Denver-based producer Venaccio to Create, this time on our Strobe imprint. Venaccio starts the new year with a very positive refreshing EP containing 'Starlight' and 'Pioneer'. We start with 'Starlight', a major-key melodic trancer that instantly lifts your mood through it's gradual building intro. Venaccio once again plays on his strength of creating great atmospheres and the breakdown that follows is a perfect example of this. 'Pioneer' starts with a darker bouncier tone but is also very melodic and also features a similarly magical breakdown brimming with optimism. The track erupts into a full melodic drop before a reprise breakdown and then the grooved bass makes a final comeback. Two stunning tracks from Venaccio.

Venaccio - Starlight

Quincy Weigert continues his story with us, this time on Create Strobe and it seems we can always rely on him to deliver melodies that truly resonate with your soul! This two-tracker starts with the pensive 'Opiates In The Opera' which features Quincy's signature melodic scale, initially on Guitar. The beats drop out leaving a synth break full of atmosphere for a relatively short time and then track bursts back in again with excitement after a siren calls time on the breakdown. 'La Casa Blanca' is similarly dark but not as urgent. Nonetheless, there's a message in there you need to hear. An EP for those who like their trance both dark and driving!

Bigtopo and Omar Diaz team up for a massive debut on Create Strobe! Brimming with power 'El Moreno' drops in with a super deep bassline. The mood is dark from the off but it's not long before you reach the first break where thoughtful, choral chords draw you in and a rising saw wave stab lifts emotions to new highs. This euphoria continues into the drop before another mini-break lures you back down the dark path into a more big room-edged destroyer. 'El Moreno' will leave you breathless under the strobe lights.

Bigtopo & Omar Diaz - El Moreno

asso featured on Create Music as one half of Killick last year, now he returns in a solo capacity with the super exciting 'Pull Back'. After an energetic mix intro, the first drop takes it right back to a cheeky psy-bassline. The track really builds with acid lines, screeches and some monstrous drum fills.  The main arp melody nods back to an era of melodic trance heroes and the euphoria this will induce in the clubs is evidently clear. But is it a tease? We'll let you discover yourself. One thing's for sure, you won't be able to stay still when you do.

Tasso - Pull Back

When Milan meets New York you're going to get a very fine Pizza! In the case of this Italian-Americano combo, the result is every bit as tasty. Mike Saint-Jules and XB (aka Fabio XB) deliver not one but two large slices of delicious progressive. 'Sword' has a dark edge with a menacing on-beat bass stab leading you forward to a sudden fall into the breakdown. In drifts a melancholic piano melody over the radio, before plucks and choral pads reinforce it ahead of the drop. On the flip, the pair cook up a toe-tapper with 'Sword'. It's into the deep we go with a really stripped back electro production. We encourage diversity at Create, let yourself go. Now I don't know about you but we're feeling very hungry....

Mike Saint - Jules & XB - Shield

Quasi is from Poland and debuts on Create Strobe with his peak-time Trancer 'Sabertooth'. The first drop delivers an electrifying bassline which gets topped off by chord stabs, reverb smashes and crisp percussion. The breakdown starts moody with bass pads on top of which the melody builds and 'Sabertooth' begins to soar. The gigantic snare drums signal the main drop is in range and it delivers the track's peak of melody and bass energy.

Laura May makes her debut on Create with 'Acid Orchestra'; a really fresh tune with a retro feel. With grooved percussion, lazy chord stabs and the occasional funky acid blurb you will find yourself locked into the groove in no time. The breakdown, in sharp contrast, is triumphantly melodic and crescendos with fizzy arpeggios and melancholic strings. The drop takes you back into a tech groove with some immediate stabs adding urgency. The percussion continues to build with more grooved elements and a big ride before a reprise of the original groove and chord stabs that got you hooked in the first place. 'Acid Orchestra' is something fresh and unique. Dare we say it, Creative?

Stream Noize & De Cima get together again for the next single under their 'Forces' Guise and it's another belter. 'Walls Between Us' is pacier than their previous offering 'In Mente' and has a refreshing Breaks feel with its power snare smashing every other beat. The intro is dotted with strobed vocal and acid grunts, and an arpeggio leads you to the breakdown; a very rich reverb-filled bowl of melodic noodles. The cut-up vocal returns with complementary bass chords and tribal percussive hits before power-riff elements play out the melody. The remaining build to the drop revolves around a pitching chord backed up with snare, then the drop unleashes the full power of the melody once again.

Stream Noize & De Cima Pres. FORCES - Walls Between Us

Danish artist, Dark Matter is back again with a superb EP, the follow-up to his widely supported 'When Souls Collide' (with Erika K). 'Girl From Sacred Land' leads the charge; its distinctive vocal chops and synth plucks in the intro give no clue to what's to follow. Glorious pads in the breakdown first awaken your senses. Bright Guitar plucks follow, taking you next level before a pause. Exhale. The melody is divine, that is all you need to know. 'Flashback' is a very clean production with crisp percussion and conga from the off. Weaving melodies and ditties communicate setting the scene, but the real storytelling begins after the break. It's a thoughtful piece and the breakdown allows you to first gorge on every note of the Piano melody before feeling the rise of the synths from its ashes. This is something special. Dark Matter treats us to another interpretation of Flashback' ending this EP with an 'Atmospheric Breaks Mix'. Take your time and enjoy.

Denver-based Venaccio continues his melodic mission with his latest cosmic gem 'The Stars Above Us'. We do love it when a title suits a track down to the ground and there's something very celestial about the atmosphere of this one. The intro sets the scene perfectly with choral notes that lift you high above the bassline. The true magic waits for the expanse of the breakdown to reveal itself in the form of the main chord formation and the lift off is intensely satisfying. Venaccio's journey continues on Strobe, keep your eyes and ears peeled for even more soon....just look up.

Purple Stories from Poland make an exciting debut on Create Music with the brilliantly produced 'Manuscript'.  From the off, atmospheric sounds hint there's a story to be told. The track first drops into a wholesome, deep bassline, and is soon joined by an arp, minimal hats, a crisp clap and effects, which all continue to set the scene. The basic arp melody proceeds into the breakdown and once again atmospheres join vocal elements to build tension. Everything stops, leaving tailing reverbs, out of which the most divine filtered down stab synth gradually rises bathing in its own reverb and delay.

Snare drums show you the way out to the drop, and big synth stabs usher in the full effect of the bassline and Percussion's return.

Purple Stories - Manuscript

LA-based Greg Thomas makes his Create Strobe debut with 'Abscence' & 'Infinite'. 'Abscence' is high energy peak-time action with a grooved rolling bassline, blistering acid lines and crisp percussion. The overall feel is menacing and this flows into the breakdown where the dark theme continues through big saw chords backed up by an energetic breakbeat.

The pre-drop build is epic, as is the drop itself which is based around an acidic melody line. The second track, 'Infinite' is also an energetic peak-timer with huge chords stabs and teasing trance melodies. The breakdown is based around a retro-style trance melody, the drop hammers the melody home in all it's power-glory. A debut EP not to be missed from Greg Thomas!

We welcome Sylvermay to Create Music with his driving trancer 'The Wall'. Rolling bass and tech trance elements build to a first mini-drop where a trance arp enters, stirring up some tension. Then the march continues to the breakdown where the arp opens up. The speech sample really suits the track and makes the breakdown rage with energy and anticipation. The drop is heads-down action with an aggressive squelching synth taking the lead then there's a short reprise of the arp melody and on to outro. Crossing over boundary lines 'The Wall' will spark interest in both the uplifting and tech trance corners of the scene.

There really is no stopping Venaccio's charge forward, delivering consistently brilliant melodic tracks with his unique production style. 'Rocket Man' is up there with his best, with space-age melodies and ethereal atmospheres in abundance.

From take-off to the moment the track reaches orbit around the breakdown, driving bass and 16th arps build anticipation. A reverb splash announces arrival at the break and from the darkness climbs spine-tingling choral chords. Joined by harmonies, the melody sequence is explored fully before the drop lands in all its triumphant glory. Quite an adventure we think you'll agree...

Rafael Osmo delivers another action-packed EP with 'Generation' and 'Remember You'. First up, 'Generation' doesn't hold back; with a pulsating bass and full effects, it powers its way to the melodic breakdown. The mood is melancholic and purposeful and the drop is solid. On the flip is the perfectly matching 'Remember You'. Whilst similar in groove, 'Remember You' has a more uplifting melodic feel. The breakdowns are smooth, filled with velvet pads and there's a retro feel to the chord progression. Rafael Osmo is definitely one to watch with an impressive flow of productions to date.

Dark Matter is back on Create Music with an absolutely stunning track. 'For The Better Anyways' starts with inspiring atmospheres that induce shivers, out of which rises a rolling throbbing bassline and kick. Now you know this track means business.  As the sustained chords distance themselves from you, hi-hats appear and the bassline starts to growl. Dark arps and vocal chops direct you to the opening. A jagged melody is revealed in the clearing and chord pads add more emphasis to the melody along with an additional bright saw layer. The drop is yet another dimension in the track, with a chord stab full of urgency and tension being the main element riding the bass. Earlier percussion and vocal elements return and the story feels complete. This is mature, authentic trance at it's finest. check it!

Dark Matter - For The Better Anyways

The legendary Mario Piu joins forces with music producer KEEGWA on our next Create Strobe offering. Atmospheres develops as ‘Aldebaran’ builds on top of its very solid kick and chunky bass with chopped vocals and plucky arps. As we transcend into the break, it’s that second chord that ‘gets you’, then a hanging delay and reverb, echo in a beautifully soft-attack arp melody. The tempo change really adds to the expressiveness of the breakdown and it picks up again into the drop, an explosive moment of melody with all the space and calm of trance from a previous decade. Viva l'Italia!

Mario Piu, KEEGWA - Aldebaran

Create regular Adip Kiyoi teams up with newcomer ELV to provide an epic slab of Big Room Trance. Soon after the intro beats, ‘Backlight’ literally lights up with a huge horn-blasting synth and a counter acid-line. This takes you to the breakdown where unassuming gentle melody gives way to a wall of synth deliciousness. All the elements talk with other throughout the track and after the gentle melody lures you in once more, the power drop hits you right between the ears. We love our acid here at Create and we’re pleased to hear it’s return in ‘Backlight’ just before the outro beats.
