ACREATIONATOR’s “Sonica (the country side)” is the first project he’s released associated with the label and collective “3SM/3-Snowmen”.
3SM records are known for their use of distorted leads and chopped up breakbeats, and upon joining them, ACREATIONATOR was inspired to start using breakbeats again; something he’d not done in a while. He’d previously been experimenting with them while making an old school drum and bass project (that was eventually abandoned), but this time he’d contextualise them with: the classic TR-808 sound, sliding 303 acid bass lines, and emotive chord progressions to create a sound reminiscent of the “Analord” series from “AFX”.

ACREATIONATOR has many styles and sounds but this by far is his most aggressive and moody.

Previous collaborator and friend of ACREATIONATOR, “Ryall” joins us on track 6 for “seed + harp” contributing excellent sound design and an infectious bass line, that ACREATIONATOR runs through a sequenced filter at the end of the track to finish the EP.

he Miami Duo consistently showcase their foundation of connecting their Miami roots with UK influences.They further this statement by joining forces with the Big Sound Boy, a.k.a. Logan_olm, to create the “MIAMI 2 LONDON : SOUNDCLASH” EP. Introduced by “WE INSIDE (CULEBRA VIP)” the 3 present a UKG/Dembow fusion of INVT’s track “CULEBRA”. Pushing the crossover between Grime infused Dembow beats “IGNITE DEM” follows up with a fresh taste of what the future could sound like. This project highlights the sweet spot between UKG, Dembow, Grime/Dubstep, with a hint of the Latin/Percussive influences INVT are known for.
