1921 is David Åhlén (vocals) and Andreas Eklöf (synthesizers and electronics)

In their collaboration, 1921, both of their musical expressions have reached full force while being united in an almost unimaginable manner. David’s timeless melodies and angelic falsetto voice, are interlaced with Andreas Eklöf’s electronic-organic soundscape, full of harmony and counterpoint. Together, they create an electronic chamber music of sorts.

RAVEN is a live music performance act. An exploration of dreams. A reexperience of nightmares.

Devil devil said to me 
that she never thought I’d be 
this clear about grieving
and as she spoke to me I turned
my head the other way around
the burning heat made me reconsider 
if this is all that it’s about
no wonder that we sometimes shout
when we appear under water
I watch the bubbles reach the sky
transforming into laughter 
as they break through the surface

sun sun set high
while you reach for me
sun sun in the sky
let me cry for a while

devil devil hear me cry
I told her not to close her eyes
and I said I like to focus on my breath
cause when you stare at me that way
I find it hard to be astray 
I’m forced to be present 
and when I’m forced to think like that
I’m forced to feel and then to act
much harder then to never have an impact
and when  you think of breathing out 
and breathing in, no time to shout
eventually you fall into dreams
