No hay muchos DJs como él. DJS que creyeron en el techno desde el primer minuto, que experimentaron el techno desde sus comienzos, que hicieron del techno algo suyo. DJS que encontraron su propio estilo y cuyo nombre es sinónimo de un sonido específico. Alex Bau es uno de éstos DJS. Pero al mismo tiempo hay algo que le diferencia. ¿Por qué centrarse sólo en sonidos minimalistas o sonidos techno cuando puedes tenerlos los dos?

Desde su club de residencia bavariano, Libella, donde realizaba 5hrs de set cada noche y donde, por cierto, también empezó su carrera Dj Hell a principios de los 80, Alex Bau destacaba por ser consciente de lo que hacía y de lo que la gente quería. Hasta que llegó el momento de salir fuera de su área, en cuyo campo cumplió y cumple con creces. A día de hoy tenemos a un artista de tour por todo el mundo, incluyendo toda Sudamérica, Canadá, Asia, y por supuesto Europa. De dichos tours por el mundo podemos destacar la impresión que causaban sus actuaciones en el mítico club Aria de Montreal, hasta el punto de sacar a la venta un CD mezclado por Alex llamado Live @ Aria, Montreal en 2006.

Como productor tiene el respeto de toda la industria, cosa que se ha ido ganando desde sus primeros acetatos con Sven Dedek en el sello Basic Implant o con Chris Liebing en Fine Audio Recordings, causando gran impacto en la pista de baile, pasando por su propio sello Toneman, hasta sus recientes producciones en CLR o Sino, y por supuesto tras su álbum Being Wayne Sidorski en el sello Credo, disco que pinchan artistas como Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Stephan Bodzin o Technasia. En el camino ha remezclado para gente como Nitzer Ebb, Pascal Feos, Justin Berkovi, Dave AngelTambién ha producido en el famoso sello Zenit de Marco Carola. 

Destacar que como agradecimiento a la especial relación con el público canadiense, Alex Bau se estrenó en el sello CLR en 2007 con un disco llamado Canada EP, que fue declarado por la industria como una auténtica obra de arte de la música electrónica contemporánea y fue admirado en todo el mundo. Una vez sabido todo esto, se entiende mejor que fuese votado como uno de los mejores DJs alemanes por la revista Raveline (nº1 en Alemania) en 2006.

Through The Times by Myk Derill will occupy the whole month of september 2019 for its release which will be divided into four parts. The continuous musical journey starts with with "Stage", "While" and "Leisure" on september 2nd, being ambassadors of rough mixed and sounding techno on which meanwhile Munich based but Berlin born and raised Myk Derill can`t deny his roots for even a second. September 9th will see the perfectly 909-day fitting "Interval", "Expiration Of All Happenings" and "Presence", on which he digs deeper into his musical universe. September 16th comes up with some  fine acid on “Postponement”, “Time To Think” and “Leaf Of The Story” while "Digression", "Time Remote" and the titletrack of album "Through The Times" leaves a moody touch on the final release of the series on september 23rd.
