Nine-month-old Samuel Kanatewat has Trisomy 18,  his parents are Marlene Shecapio and Louis Rene Kanatewat.

He's been hospitalized on and off since he was born and is currently at the Montreal Children's Hospital.

Some of the Montreal Canadiens players came to visit them at the hospital.

The Cree Board of Health and Social Services uses a travelling mammogram clinic to provide screening in communities across Eeyou Istchee. 

In Whapmagoostui, the mobile clinic travels by plane (under the name of Sophie Air).

After the holidays, the outbreak of flu hit communities across Eeyou Istchee.

Many people could not go back to their the jobs, and many students were absent from school.
