It could not have been timed more perfectly for the last hour of daylight, through twilight, then on into the dark evening sky. No moon. Just all who were present, and a perfect view of the constellations. This one of a kind venue set the foundation to curate one extremely special vibe!

As an exceptional DJ, producer, and promoter, Florin Marica played a key role in shaping Romania's '90s underground music scene. A finalist in the esteemed Heineken Music Thirst, he showcased his talents by orchestrating groundbreaking events for over 15 years, bringing together local and international DJs, producers, and captivating live acts for unforgettable experiences, providing also a significant opportunity for young talents to present and promote themselves. 

Under the Selectro banner, Marika crafted a unique scene, combining local talents and global luminaries, showcased at the esteemed Sunwaves Music Festival (SW8/SW10). The brand earned recognition, securing the prestigious 'Best Concept for a Series of Parties in Romania' distinction at the Nights.ro Awards in 2010 and 2011. 

And that's not all. Marika's radio shows and work on Atomic TV also marked a groundbreaking era. His DJ skills and the Selectro brand evolved into a record label in 2017, offering incredible eclectic electronic releases and solidifying his enduring influence in global electronic music.

Curious about my mixes? Live and studio mixes are available. The ones not labeled "Live..." I call my "Mythologitech Series". Each one is a studio DJ mix that has been dedicated to a specific deity pulled from mythological origins. I'd like to imagine oneself laden with vibes upon a dance floor, which only myth or legend can place in one's imagination. This dance floor is where this deity has a residency. The righteous space where that entity creates fourXfour vibes for the dancefloor of that era.
