Creek Don’t Rise is a three piece hailing from Virginia Beach, Virginia featuring Zach Curtis on vocals/guitar, James Horton on bass and Shane Ashcraft on drums.

Influenced by artists such as Hendrix, Zeppelin, and the Allman Brothers, CDR takes blues and rock into new territory, not only by adding speed, but an aggressive and slightly experimental element to the mix.

CDR was concieved in the spring of 2011 with the idea that music doesn’t need to be over-polished to be appealing.

We are a simple 3 piece band that legitimately enjoys writing/playing music.
