My first full one hour set recorded for you the fans.  I know there aren't a large group of you and that's perfect.  I'd rather have a few people that really enjoy what I play and are willing to deal with me messing up all in the name of fun and a good time.

So here it is... 15 tracks and just over one full hour of drum and bass from all facets possible.

I was digging through my external drive looking for another file and happened upon this practice set from back in 2011.  I call it a "Throwback" as it's all vinyl, all house, and most of the music is from early 2000's except the last track which is a white label.

Turn it up and enjoy the vibes as the heat of another Texas Summer starts to blaze.

Aug 2011 House Practice

I took the loop from a Looperman pack and since I'm teaching myself synth programming I made a bass patch and layered it in. This was on my Facebook page and got called,  "Trippy-High-End, "Luxury Porn," music."

That sparked the idea and well here is what I've got so far.

*I probably don't have rights to use the picture. I found it with a Google Search and stuck it on there. I'll remove it if asked. Also, the samples were sourced all over the place. Don't ask me because I don't remember. But, I'll give credit where it's due or remove it as well.

Weekend Experiment

Still a work in progress. Seems like it's missing something. But, as far as the major work I think it's done and just needs to be mastered. Which I have to learn to do....

Memories feat. Kaz (WIP)

Short mix I did just on a whim out of my so called Soul & Bass folder. It was recorded live and completely unplanned. I would've kept going but, as the last song was playing I saw the laptop battery giving its last breaths. Matter of fact, the battery died no less than two minutes after I ended the last song! So, here's a bit of Creht Digga behind the decks just having a little fun and enjoying my collection of tunes.

About fifteen years ago Thomas "Ogre" Davis stood up and decreed, "I'm tired of hearing you talk about it. You get your tax return, we're going to the store and you're buying some damn turntables!" Sure enough a few weeks later I found myself walking out of Mars with a Gemini DJ Starter Pack and looking at my car trying to figure out how to get this huge box inside of it. Typical Ogre shoved it in the rear and began to listen to me abuse his ear holes for a few months.

Since then production of vinyl has gone away and slowly started to come back, Mars has long gone out of business, Technics stopped making the entire line of 1200's and the digital wave has taken over. I've gone from mixing house and trance, to a sort stint in break beats and now finally resting in drum and bass. At least for now that's what I'm playing. In between I've done a couple of parties, I don't think Project Akon will ever be the same, and started working on recording myself. The next step? Who knows maybe a few sad attempts at producing...
