Join Our Club release number 13, unlucky for some?  Well certainly not for XY-Me, and certainly not for you (if you actually read these).  XY-Me are John-Paul Denton and People Get Real, channeling John-Paul’s studio wizardry and People Get Real’s dance floor know how to maximum effect.

Of the 3 original tracks Broke and Washed Up are a melting pot of strong hooks, playful melodies and rolling percussion.  Chicago strips back on the melodies and offers more of a straight up jacking groove (what else would it do with a name like that).

Closing out proceedings we have three top-drawer remixes of Broke from Falko Brocksieper, Morgan Hammer and Kezokichi. Falko takes a rude boy approach roughing up the track and giving it some serious dance floor bounce.  Morgan takes the original and gives it a driven melancholic feel, using the keys to build the tension and emotion. Kezokichi strips the original back further and gives us a robotic, angular tech-house take.
