To double check the data, I used Abide to the Return with Jagged Edge and Honed edge to see if the results are similar with another archetype. With Abide heavy attack damage is disregarded as the Whirlwind Blades perk on this roll can mess up with the data.


This should be simple but I need direction as to how. If you view the screenshot, is there an easier way to create a vector shape with a rough jagged edge without the time-consuming process of using the pen tool?


you can try to use some cloud, gear, star shape tool and adjust in the top toolbar settings the amount of spikes/corners to draw that one. Then convert the used shape to curves and alter some it's spikes nodes. - Alternative find some vector shape with rough jagged edges in the net and reuse that one, or in case of a bitmap drawing autotrace that to a vector object (SVG, PDF) for reuse in Affinity Designer.





Thank you v_kyr, I just tried the shape tool suggestion but that is also time-consuming. Searching for vectors with jagged edges and reusing them by moving the nodes around is what I'm currently doing, but again, it's tedious work. I watch videos how this software does some amazing things, there has to be a faster way.


Some of the photos that I put into InDesign automatically get jagged edges, even without me rotating the photo. In Photoshop, the image is perfect but when I transfer it, I get the inconsistencies. I turned up my display performance to high and even tried printing it (with all of the data) and it still shows up.


I have a mesh with some jagged edges that need smoothing out without having to do a lot of manual work. It's a zig-zagging mesh and I'm trying to fill out the creases so that there is a somewhat continuous outer edge. The image below is a screenshot of the mesh, with the red line marking where the mesh should follow.


Try checking auto smooth. Smooth shading makes all edges smooth, but auto smooth allows it to recognize sharp edges and make them flat shading. Change the angle to change the angle which is sharp.

I have an interior scene where I have imported a model for the apartment and many of the interior objects such as lamps, windows, etc. Unfortunately I have a lot of jagged edges on almost all the objects in my scene even on Fantastic Quality settings with Anti Aliasing pushed to its maximum. What else can I do to reduce the jaggies seen here:

In addition, the player can make use of a "berserk mode" which temporarily makes Guts invincible and a lot stronger, as well as Guts's various gadgets including the cannon concealed in his artificial arm, a few healing tinctures courtesy of Puck's medicinal fairy dust and the handful of throwing knives and bombs he keeps on his person. All of these additional items are in limited supply but will frequently restock after each stage, so the game all but insists that the player rely on their resourcefulness and strategic wits to determine the best time to use them. Generally speaking, the cannon's best reserved for bosses, the knives for ranged units who try to stay out of reach of Guts's melee attacks and the bombs for when Guts gets swarmed by weaker enemies.
