"Camina" is Daniel Imhof’s first release on Monada. Both songs are minimalist in their sound structure and yet radiate a true fullness of emotion. A slow, soulful and warm journey through deep space into an imaginary world, where a certain kind of peace of mind can unfold. After decades of playing for crowds as a club DJ, this Lp reflects his gradual move towards the sonic realm of ambient music. He is thrilled by the contributions of the artists on this project.

Daniel Imhof is a musician and DJ based in a village close to Bern. His studio on the grounds of an organic farm is surrounded by birch trees. When he lets his gaze wander over his modular landscape, sometimes a red kite or a white crane flies into the picture. This might be one of the reasons why his music has this organic feel to it. His monthly ambient show "voyage" on the alternative radio station "Rabe" on Sunday mornings is an invitation to listen deeply, to lie down, to daydream. Occasionally he plays live for sleep concerts or other kinds of horizontal meditations.

Ouhana manages to carry us on a downtempo journey through an inner realm
bringing forth sparkling lights of many shades. Forgotten parts of our soul that were
too busy dancing now find their way back into our awareness. With Audae in
Something Hides, Ouhana manages to find the fitting dynamics that take us from the
hectic city environment into our secret inner garden with its glorious revelations.
Something Hides tickles our inner flame while Fluffy Cats makes that flame within us
go on a smooth ride through the jazzy milky way. Wrapped in a warm cosmic sheet,
all cats can't help but purr. A little bit mystical, a little bit cool.

Arutani - Craft Coven

The new LOKD chapter was conceived by our dear friend @temple-tears, all the way from Paris, France. 

This whole EP is loaded with a distinctive flavour, something we have been missing in the scene lately. Expressing an absolute and characteristic focus on energetic progression around each original composition. 

LOKD009 is also welcoming our friends from @kermesselive with their remix of “Matilde”, which transforms the original into their own spectrum of what could be defined as truly organic sound. The second remix is by our very own @arutani, who takes a step back on suggesting a deeper and melodic approach in his re-interpretation for the track “Quentin”. 

We are proud to welcome Grégori into our little family, and to release the very first EP in his downtempo career.

LOKD010 has arrived, this time by one of our very own label heads, and good friend, AVEM. Representing our hometown Basel over the last years, this time Boris is going all the way back to the 80’s. Having deep in his roots the disco days, mainly because of family business (his father in a concert in 1985 is our artwork for this EP), he has created his own new interpretation influenced by the golden era.

Our new Disco Days EP is accompanied with remixes from our dear friends @yolanda-frei, and Oberst & Buchner. Which have been specially selected to bring their well known twist that has made them stand out in our scene for a long time. 

Even though it took some time, we are very happy to finally release his first EP in his very own home, LOKD.

We are releasing exclusive music under our imprint 'Crépite. Records' and we curate 'The Gemstone' podcast Series.
We also organize events and showcases aiming at promoting musical talents, foster cross-border connections between artists, and create opportunities to share precious moments together.

Crépite started as a group of friends, sharing the same passion and similar music tastes, experiencing and evolving together as a DJ collective. Going along with starting to produce our own music, we then decided to start the record label in 2020.
