Microwaves is thrilled to present the one and only Dan Piu (@boutopoulos-george)

Electronic music producer based in Zurich, Switzerland. In 1992 he started to produce music on his self-founded labels No Acting Vibes and Moto Music. Specialized in using a variety of analogue synthesizers and pedal effects, Dan Piu’s productions were known for analogue sounds.

The mix complication is focused on some of Dan's most underground, underrated and forgotten old-school rarities.

You'll notice that some tracks are louder on one side than the other, Dan told us it's from a mini Album released in 1991 which he used and it appears that this record was stamped unbalanced. 

"The whole selection is very underground‘ish and I recorded it through my Urei 1620 mixer, it's dirty but very warm." - Dan
