The set was recorded during my gig at KaterBlau at the legendary yearly b-day party of @mira_kater - 45 Katzen tanzen auf'm Tisch.

I’ve always experienced electronic music and especially the Downtempo scene behind it as an opportunity to enjoy a safe space while dancing and to meet likeminded people, allowing me to forget about the everyday hassle and to get lost in the night or day. 
So, when COVID hit the breaks on being a passionate dancer on these occasions, I felt the need to at least keep the sound and spirit in my life, which finally put me behind the decks. What I didn’t expect was how much I would love to play these uplifting, harmonic and at times darker tunes with a deep baseline and how many opportunities it would open up for new input and exchange with other music-lovers.
Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined to be invited to Jordan and to be able to share my favorite tunes in a country, I’ve wanted to visit for a long time

Super Flu Live at Fusion 2019

This was my first Fusion Festival, popped my Fusion cherrrrry!!! 

I arrived just before my set , they took me to the stage in a car covered in graffiti that looked like it was taken out of the garbage dump, but blended in perfectly with the surroundings, and had an extra roar that gave it its character when the dreadlocked driver pushed on the gas. I found labels and trinkets in the car from many years ago.   Totally added to the experience. 

Arrived to Kerala Dust playing live, and thousands of people in front of me. 

What i loved about this stage, is that it was just about 10 inches off the ground , so still had that intimate connection to the crowd.  Thats something I struggle with sometimes at festivals, being high up on a stage and the distance between the crowd with those metal barriers disconnecting us. 

The actual set felt electric, the vibes were fresh, and they were high, so i fed on that fresh energy and we danced till sunset.  I even got a polaroid from a lady **if you know who you are ** say hi -----     that said hero on it.   

super touching experience, was soooo short and sweet. 

ill never forget my experience with Floyd Lavine, who i got to hang out with for an hour.  he came to my set at the beginnning and was total fan boy, totally unexpected.   afterwards i ran into him in the artist grounds, and we hung out danacing and talking with his gf and his friends somehow the conversation turned to politics, and it got heated.   not that i know anything about politics, :)

Yerevan hosted The Alan Parsons Project concert some 10 years ago. Given that only a handful of concerts of that magnitude have been organized in Armenia ever since, @buchneroberst’s set is one of the biggest and most important things connecting life from ten years ago with what is now — endless memories, countless topsy-turvy paths and everything that exists today. And if you look at it from the opposite side, you will definitely find some reason why the guys from Oberst & Buchner have decided to use these tracks in the set, which may be no less important for them too, stirring memories from the past. And what is music anyway, if not “Tales of Mystery and Imagination” and memories?
