We first saw Girl Pusher at an insane punk-rave in Compton. Since then, they've been a powerful new force in LA music, providing a missing voice for both youth woes and passions. With brutal chants like "I'm so fat / I'm so ugly", Girl Pusher transcend self-deprecation to a sort of joyous scream-therapy for both them and their wild audiences. With a streamlined set up of just vocals from Gabby Giuliano and drums (both electronic & acoustic) from Jarrod Hine, Girl Pusher is punk just the way we like it - futuristic and uncompromising.
