Buzzsaw

Trevor Discombe and Tim James met at high school in 1986, both sharing an interest in 70's and 80's hard rock music and formed their first band together. As time passed, Trevor mostly explored heavier music - playing drums live in Adelaide rock, metal, grunge and punk bands. Tim explored rock's "blusey" roots and travelled Australia for many years, while playing with various artists. 

In 2004, Trevor ceased playing drums and left his band after a car accident incapacitated him for a considerable time. He took guitar and bass more seriously in 2005, learning from tutorial videos. By 2006 Trevor was a guitar trader online, which lead to the forming of his business, Inferno Hand Crafted Guitars. Poor health forced Trevor into an early retirement in 2009 and he now only records when his health permits it.

Crimson Road's music is a blend of hard rock of the 70's with blues, punk, grunge and metal flavours thrown in for good measure. Their influences include Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, The Sex Pistols, Nirvana, John Lee Hooker, The Offspring, Foo Fighters, Matt "Guitar" Murphy and many more. Most of the tracks have lyrics written, yet may sound good as they are if used for soundtrack work. Vocals may be added to certain tracks in the future.
