This song is about that messy uncomfortable place of knowing you're flawed but still wanting to be better. It's about screwing up, facing your own bullshit, and trying anyway even when it feels embarrassing to admit. I think we all have moments where we hate ourselves for not being perfect, we’ve broken our own rules, but we still push through hoping that trying counts for something.
