Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Hotmood is a DJ and producer with a vivid passion for grooves has been quietly shaping the landscape of disco-inflected electronic music. Drawing from boogie, funk, deep house, and vintage 70’s sonic textures, his work crafts an embrace of dance floor euphoria and warm nostalgia. Rich bass, shimmering synth lines, retro vocal chops, and rhythms that swing this is the sound palette he uses to bridge past and present.

Hotmood is known for balancing finely chopped samples and old‐school feel with crisp modern production. Whether it’s editing disco loops, laying down deep disco house, or venturing into nu-disco territory, his tracks manage to retain emotional soul as much as they deliver groove. With releases on labels such as Nervous, Starcreature, Kolour, De La Groove, Large Music, plus his own imprint Discoweey, he has established both credibility and creative control over his output. Notably, his Disco Flava EP brought together originals like “Brazilian Groove” and remixes by artists like Felipe Gordon.

Touring and DJing around Mexico, USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, he has earned the respect of audiences for his ability to read the crowd while maintaining his signature sound. Hotmood continues to push disco and funk influences forward into electronic music without losing heart. Each track is an invitation: to move, to feel, and to reconnect with the timeless joy of groove.
