I recently re-watched two of my favourite films, The Night Of The Hunter and True Grit (The Coen Brothers remake). This song featured in both of them. I am not a Christian but I love the song and the films so wanted to sing it. I have tried to fuse Robert Mitchum and Iris Dement's renditions into one. I hope I have done it some justice.
