This could be the biggest year yet for the young but successful underground West Coast techno label Crisis Of Man. This year alone we have seen them release the various artist compilation, with a whole heap of new names to add to their roster, and now they can add one of the UK’s most prolific and respected producers, Perc.

For those well versed within the underground movement of the last decade, Perc needs little introduction with early releases gracing CLR, Soma, and Kompakt, he soon after established his world-renowned Perc Trax imprint in 2004 with his debut single ‘Ice Cream For Kenton’. Now approaching nearly 100 releases, the label has been a pinnacle for many and a reference point for truly outstanding productions.

Kicking off 2022 with the first original music with his ‘Safe As Fuck’ single via Parisian rave culture imprint Possession, he now unleashes the heavy-hitting ‘Motork’ single, marking his debut on Crisis Of Man this June.
Perc doesn't mess around, and gets into it thick and fast, with driving kicks, slick percussion, and rip-roaring synth elements, that help to drive your mind into a world of its own whilst on the dancefloor. The heavily disturbing distorted vocal cuts throughout give this track some menacing effects that aren’t to be messed with.

In the waning days of a world long since forsaken, mankind festers in a state of unspeakable decay. The cities rot beneath a blackened sky, and loathsome entities, whose very forms defy all natural law, slither and stalk amongst the ruins. Yet, in their folly, humanity averts its gaze, weaving illusions of normalcy to shield their fragile minds from the nightmare that seethes beneath the surface of all things.

For those few whose eyes remain unclouded, the true visage of existence is laid bare: a howling abyss teeming with abominations beyond name or reason. In their terror and madness, men turn to powers that should have remained forever hidden, seeking sanctuary where none exists. In a world so steeped in corruption, the lines between salvation and damnation are long since blurred.

Thus began the Summoning, a ritual born of desperation and disease, wherein the last remnants of mankind bent the knee to that which lurks in the outermost gulfs. They called forth Kraken,  a being whose essence is chaos itself, a mass of shifting limbs and gaping, lidless eyes, whose gaze alone could unravel the feeble threads of the human mind.

No salvation was granted. Only ruination. The Kraken, an avatar of the abyss, did not come to save, but to claim. The world, its fate etched in the fabric of time long before the first footfall of man, now lurches toward inevitable dissolution. The falsehoods whispered across generations grow ever fainter, the veil wears thin, and the true architects of existence stretch forth their tendrils to reclaim their due.

Obeisance is not merely the surrender of man to powers beyond comprehension; it is the final, shuddering gasp of a species that was never meant to endure.
