The Etnnia born in Las Cruces neighborhood belonging to the center of the city of Bogotá (Colombia). They are considered the first to broach the subject of this culture in South America, starting with the roots of films that came directly from New York, which was reflected in the movement, mainly breakdancing.
His birth was in 1984 break dancing in the streets, with sounds of Afrika Bambaataa and under the name of "new rapper breaker" after taking details and material of North America, in order to be creating his own style. Between the years 1985-1990 created their own first demos which never were released for lack of financial support and ignorance of this movement. His first official album called "Attack Methane" first produced on tape (1994), due to its success it was decided to pass it on CD (1995).
They were in the festival of "Hip-Hop al Parque" 2008, held in Bogota as one of two national guests, closing the festival.

La Etnnia nació en el barrio Las Cruces pertenecientes al centro de la ciudad de Bogotá (Colombia). Son considerados los primeros en tocar el tema de esta cultura en Sudamérica, iniciando con raíces de películas que venían directamente desde Nueva York, en las cuales se reflejaba el movimiento, principalmente el breakdance.
Su nacimiento fue en el año 1984 bailando break en las calles,con sonidos de Afrika Bambaataa y bajo el nombre de "new rapper breaker", después tomando detalles y material de Norteamérica, para así ir creando su estilo propio. Entre los años 1985-1990 crearon sus primeras maquetas propias las cuales nunca salieron a la venta por falta de apoyo económico y desconocimiento de este movimiento. Su primer álbum oficial llamado "Ataque Del Metano" primeramente producido en una cinta (1994), debido a su éxito se decidió pasarlo a formato CD en (1995).
Estuvieron en el festival de "Hip-Hop al Parque" 2008, que se realiza en Bogotá como uno de los dos invitados nacionales, cerrando dicho festival.
