“Intro to Cristi Hernz” captures the moment I stepped into a new era of sound—progressive, melodic, and rhythmically Afro-groovy. This set was created as the opening pulse of my evolving identity as a producer and DJ, marking the beginning of the Selva Beats launch and everything that would follow.

It blends atmospheric progressions with warm, percussive grooves, weaving in the tropical intuition that defines my Miami energy. This mix represents the transition into my newer artistic evolution: deeper storytelling, more intentional rhythms, and a soundscape that moves between elevation and grounded soul.

It’s an invitation into my world, where culture meets cadence, where percussion leads emotion, and where my journey as an artist continues to rise.

Cristi Hernz Bio

Cristi Hernz, Cuban Spanish DJ and Producer, from Miami Beach, FL.  

Cristi started Djing when she was only 11 years old and now is 27 years old. 

Her journey began with open format and is now as of this past year in producing and mixing house music. Cristi is known for playing most genres with an emphasis on percussion sounds to add the latin tropical flavor that represents Miami energy through beats.

To that end, in March 2023, Cristi founded Selva Beats MIA platforming Miami artists to represent Miami energy through beats. Through Selva Beats, Cristi united people far and wide through the sound of music with the unmistakeable Miami energy. Within this past year, she has already hosted and platformed European artists from the Canary Islands, Italy, United Kingdom, and Portugal. 

Traveling, music, good vibes, family and friends are what define her personality and inspiration with music.
