Originating from Constanta, Romania, Catalin Chifan / Vern is a DJ/Producer who enjoys experimenting without limits.His enthusiasm for minimalistic notes and appreciation of diverse rhythms expanded his production fronts over the last years. Blending music without rules, creating stories from simple notes, exploring new musical patterns, and manipulating sounds characterize Vern’s particular style.

With melancholic pads,groovy basslines and experimental elements ,made his debut with vinyl release for RE:FACE in 2019. Since then, he released Ep's, remixes and VA aparitions on labels as Joule Imprint, Rowle, Octophonic, Lokomotiv, Skip Audio, Druzhba, Bossom LTD, Bla Bla, Tied and many others. 

Discret but skillful behind the decks, his tracks are distilled throughout the Romanian minimal scene, and performed well beyond.
