Imagine a beautiful day by the sea on an early summer eve or maybe just at your favorite park around the corner. Hanging out with your beloved ones or all by yourself and just enjoying the moment.


We tried to combine keywords that came to our mind when thinking of a situation like that: happiness, nostalgia, gratefulness…
Then we attempted to transform this general idea of a feeling into a mix of our favorite records that make us feel like this way and hopefully help you to seek that beautiful place in your imagination.

Welcome to 'Here We Are', a music show that explores diverse territories of sounds. This rubric-free program delves into topics of personal importance, profoundly influencing our individual experiences. From abstract emotions like "dreamy" to tangible elements such as concrete buildings or the essence of summer, I try to embrace these themes through the language of sounds, grooves, and rhythms.

The first episode delves into the fascinating world of nerdy interests and the power of heightened attentiveness. 
Through a careful blend of emotions, spaces, and sounds, the show creates an immersive experience that captivates listeners and intensify a deeper understanding of niche passions. Whether you're a self-proclaimed nerd or simply curious about the intricate details that command our attention, this show offers a unique exploration of these subjects.

This episode is a dedication to my dearest uncle (@bln-fm-sunday-session), who shapes, supports and inspires me through out my entire process of musical experiences.

This show was recorded live and vinyl only.

The analog picture for the cover captures the woods in my hometown, which helped me focus, calm down and create an attentiveness for several things on my mind.

It is about the idea, not the technical finesse. Please excuse me for mic splitting.

Finally, the third part of "Work In Progress" is now available on the cloud—a collection of healing tunes for challenging times.

This mix is distinctive in the context of the series. I created six versions of it using various recordings over the past year, but none left me satisfied. I was consistently searching for tracks that would evoke inner self-reflection, establish a calm atmosphere, and encourage thoughtful contemplation.
After browsing through my old records, buying new ones, and rediscovering A- or B-sides, I finally arranged something that reflects my personality, where each record holds its own unique story. It feels like I've never expressed myself through a mix as effectively as I have in this one.
The mix creates balanced vibes—deeply happy and calm, yet also trippy and nerdy, inducing contemplation on anything that comes to mind while listening.

It begins with one of my favorite ambient EPs by No Moon, centered around existence. Transitioning to Ewan Jansen and Gonno, followed by nthng and his interpretation of a beautiful love from the EP "Hypnotherapy," which I shared with a special person. Next is Erell Ramson shaking hands with Pariah in a remix, followed by Artemisia, discovered in a random, fully dusted cardboard box at my uncle’s place—what goes around comes around. An ultra a.s.o. remix-only release, which I fell in love with after the Rain Down in Purelink’s "say less" way, and then targeted by Jimi Bazzouka with a Giappone. Ending with one of my favorite releases by Purelink, gifting us "Dozen Sunbeams," followed by Downstairs J with a brief description of the Orion constellation and Fjeldheim texturing a map. In the last track, I attempt to convey the message to "Go On" and continue with your passion through the extended mix on the a.s.o. release.

This upload is filled with gratitude for the beautiful ups and challenging downs of 2023. Much love to my old and new friends, everyone involved in the collectives, and big thanks to every artist in my collection for creating and all the record dealers who enable us to search, find, buy and love records.

Mit „Phantasia“ assoziiert critghetto die Suche nach etwas, was du nie entdecken wirst, weil es immer verborgen bleibt, damit man realisiert, dass der Weg eigentlich das ist, wonach man sucht. Dieser Weg erscheint critghetto auf den ersten Blick monoton, dunkel und düster. Doch bei genauerer Betrachtung erweist sich diese Monotonie als extrem trippy und berauschend, da sich doch so viel ändert und nichts gleich bleibt.

Der Opening Track sticht besonders hervor („Red Shift“ von Centuras, 1994). Der Anfang ist verträumt, gedämpft und warm, wie eine schöne lange und innige Umarmung. Im letzten Teil des Tracks entsteht eine düstere Stimmung, die für critghetto seiner obigen Assoziation mit Phantasia widerspiegelt.

Critghettos Mix bewegt sich zwischen Sinn und Verlust und besteht aus hypnotischen Rhythmen und trippigen Klangwelten, die sich mit träumerischer Intimität vermischen. Er verarbeitet damit ein sehr wichtiges und emotionales Ereignis in seinem Leben.

Critghetto associates "Phantasia" with the search for something you will never discover because it always remains hidden, so that you realize that the journey is actually what you are seeking. At first glance, this journey appears monotonous, dark, and gloomy to him. However, upon closer look, this monotony reveals itself to be extremely trippy and intoxicating, as so much changes and nothing remains the same. 

The opening track particularly stands out (‘Red Shift’ by Centuras, 1994). The beginning is dreamy and warm, like a long and intimate hug. In the final part of the track, a darker mood emerges, which, for Critghetto, reflects his  association with Phantasia. Critghetto's mix varies between meaning and loss, consisting of hypnotic rhythms and trippy soundscapes that blend with dreamlike intimacy. 

In doing so, he processes a very important and emotional event in his life. 

Listen for yourself and dive in.
