One of the most anticipated releases for some time, we are proud to bring you the debut recordings from young Auckland, New Zealand duo Tokyo Prose. Discovered very early in their careers by DJ Presha, the two Sam’s were signed to Samurai Red Seal as core artists in a long term development deal. It has taken a few years to get to the point where we have this release ready, but as you will hear the wait has been worth it. ‘Introducing Tokyo Prose’ brings stylish swagger and musical substance to a scene overflowing with identical bare boned rollers. Gliding between minimal ambience and deep soulful steppers, these gifted young men aptly display their knack for sample selection and unique groove building. DJ support has been consistent from names like Calibre, S.P.Y, Bryan G, London Elektricity, Spectrasoul, Lenzman, Total Science, Blu Mar Ten, Loxy, Random Movement, Lynx, Presha, Sinistarr and many more.

The first single from the Way Of The Samurai 2 'Code Of Honour' compilation comes from two artists that represent the cross section of the Samurai Music Sound perfectly. 

Long time Samurai family member Klute adds his deft, distinctive touch on a remix of Tokyo Prose & Phil Tangent' 'Parity'. A firm favourite for every DJ lucky to get their hands on it, and one that draws the attention of every lady in the nearby vicinity. A future Klute classic! 

Clarity represents the new breed of producer and dynamic, and is someone Samurai Music will be working closely with in the future. 'Cold Blank' is a surefire dance-floor weapon which has been used constantly by the likes of Doc Scott, dBridge, Loxy and many more. Those 3 names are enough to signify the potency of this bullet.

From the seasoned expertise of names like Marcus Intalex, Klute, ASC, Loxy &amp; Resound through to fresh talent Clarity, Pessimist, &amp; Overlook and introducing new names Mercy, Subtension, &amp; Paragon, there is something to please anyone who likes Drum and Bass in ‘Code Of Honour’.  

'Code Of Honour' is what we believe to be a comprehensive snapshot of what is great about Drum and Bass in 2012. As always with our beloved genre 'Code Of Honour' has moments that point firmly to the future and moments that celebrate and summarize all that has been great in the genre's history. 2012 has been the best year in Samurai Musics 5 year history and we feel this is the perfect cap to a year where we achieved many of our initial goals and built a firm foundation for further development in the years to come. 

The name 'Code Of Honour' refers to the Bushido code and the 5 12" samplers from the album are each named after an essential virtue of the Samurai code.
