Italian producer joins the Spanish family for a wonky EP consisting of four tracks showcasing versatility and loads of style. Holds together a variant of subgenres: deep, tech-step, old-school and even a good bit of jazz.


After getting noticed by Vision Radio for his previous work in the also Italian firm The Dreamers Recordings, Frame put his next step on Parallel Depth. He’s also released in other interesting labels such as Delta 9, Influenza or Terra Firma.

'The Music is my Life LP' tells the story of 14 years of dedication to drum and bass production. Dunk's debut LP is the result of many months of non-stop work, living and breathing the music - for the first time feeling he was able to deliver his musical vision in full.

Originating from São Paulo, Brazil, Dunk is one-half of the world-renowned Jam Thieves. He may be a new name to some, but he is no stranger to producing heavy drum and bass flows which push any sound system to its limit.

Working with complete artistic freedom in partnership with the label, Dunk was able to deliver on his dream of releasing a full-length drum and bass album, encapsulating his love for the music and the many varied styles it represents.

The entire album was mastered by the legendary Teebee at Black Science Labs. Dunk was delighted to receive a call from the man himself offering his full support and congratulating him on the strength of his production. A testament indeed to the Brazilian's talents.

We are proud to present this spectacular debut LP - 'The Music is my Life', landing in all online stores this October.

Plasma Audio are rolling this year. They've racked up releases from the likes of Icicle, Safire, Rido, Proxima, Cursa, Fre4knc, Kolectiv and Survey and now they've got a heavy remix single from the mighty Alix Perez. Sabre's track Yoga came out on Plasma in 2014 to critical acclaim and now it's got  a whole new lease of life, courtesy of Mr. Perez, with two new versions.

Both remixes have manage hold on to plenty of the original's wonkiness. The Club Mix creeps along with an irregular pace.  Buzzing synths call out and reply to each other in a conversation, which builds up an abstract sonic landscape that bulges and swells as the track continues.  The Warped mix brings more space to the track's reinterpretation resulting in a more dubbed out feel accentuating the tracks sense of pace.

Music can take you so many places. I once freestyled with C-Rayz Walz back in 2003 in a dark alley in Baltimore near the Ottobar. In September 2024, I performed at Sun & Bass alongside the DJ Strife at Ambra Day, San Teodoro, Sardinia - a global mecca of drum & bass. I love the rush that accompanies the feeling of holding the mic, but having no idea of what I am going to say next.  When you are the conduit between the DJ and the crowd, the medium by which expression is felt and shared.  In those moments you are able to influence the crowd + what people may think or feel, the night, and the direction it will follow.  Ultimately, that memory will be yours to keep forever.  I have been freestyling, writing music, and emceeing for over 22 years now with no plans to change.  My goal is to share a piece of who I am every time I perform for those who listen.  I emcee simply because I love it.
