Fresh off the buzz of Glastonbury and Houghton, I’ve finally jumped back on the decks.

Kicking off with a high-energy bassline heater to set the pace, then diving into some hard house and electro club business. Things are then taken down a notch, getting into some deeper house grooves, touching on UK garage flavours and warm, progressive house vibes to round it off.

Big inspiration lately from the festivals, the people, and the moments, this one’s for anyone who’s still glowing from the summer.

Reconnecting across continents, Iti and Axon Growth Factor trace their roots back to the hazy inner-city suburbs of Magandjin/Brisbane, where a shared love of hardware led to evening jam sessions after work. Now split between London and Naarm/Melbourne, their new EP rekindles that same spark, capturing the immediacy and warmth of their machine-driven approach.

The opening two tracks, Sleep Pressure and Black Box Society, are the product of those late-night sessions in 2022. Sleep Pressure opens the EP in restrained electro form - layered analogue tones and deep IDM-leaning percussion working in gentle sync. An expression of instinctive jamming under fatigue-softened focus.

Black Box Society lifts the tempo. Anchored by the gritty drum output of the MPC1000 and a classic Ensoniq digital piano, it’s fast and tactile, veering between progressive techno and 2-step. The original session file for this track was unfortunately lost, leaving this raw take as the definitive version.

The EP’s second half sees each artist step out on their own. Square Anywhere is Iti’s solo contribution - a fast-moving cut built on 4x4 garage percussion, bouncy basswork and a restless arpeggiator. Debiasing, from Axon Growth Factor, closes the record with a darker edge - jangled bell melodies, fizzy percussion, and brooding atmospheres all nodding to his signature progressive sound.

Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, and star diviner Maude Vôs reaches for the helio heavens in their highly anticipated third EP on Delusional Records - 'Astral Intervals'.

A continuation of the journey they began with '5th Generation Angel', the new body of work is an exploration of “musical metaphysics” - a concept rooted in ancient celestial theories of harmony and the cosmos. Drawing from the teachings of Pythagoras, Kepler, and Copernicus, Vôs translates planetary ratios, gravitational pull, and orbital motion into rhythm, scale, and BPM. The result is a luminous collection of tracks that live in the liminal space between science and mysticism, abstraction and groove, a moonbeam manifesto for dancefloor awakening.

The Astral Intervals EP also features a remix from Berlin-based producer, live coder and visual artist Prieste5s, whose versatile and genre-bending style pulses through the bass-heavy texture of lead track Theta Fugue.

Hypnotic progressions, breakbeats, and experimental atmospheres are woven through the star charts of Maude’s latest sacred offering. An interstellar dialogue between music, mathematics, and mysticism, and a radiant expansion of Delusional’s ever-growing, genre-defying catalog.
